A little tip ! I didn’t realize this till a few years ago but don’t open the ice bag :) it stays longer and doesn’t melt as quick in the cooler and stuff doesn’t get all wet

I love my Spotify premium subscription; although I hate ending up in Spotify jail (aka running out of hours in the middle of a book 😩😭). Spotify needs to up the hours from 15 to 20 at least! 😅
I don’t understand why their is a limit - there’s no limit on music hours so I’m like we pay the higher cost for the hours I’m like just make them unlimited brooo but minimum hours def at least 20hrs but truly should be unlimited. Ugh such an announce 📢 Spotify get it together ! 😊

Sometimes if a book is really bad, I will DNF it. Other times, similar to how you mentioned really wanting to understand why the characters fight, I will skim read through to the end in order to get my answers and not suffer too greatly for the bad writing/characters/plot

I simply cannot and won't finish reading a book I don't enjoy. While I don't like to DNF books I just can't give energy and time to something I'm not enjoying. Life really is too short to read books you don't enjoy.
Hey girl hey, I work every summer, and still have to figure out fun things and activities for my girls to do while they are on summer break. My youngest (7)is in summer school, my oldest (13) just want to be out everyday

Never Lie was my first Freida book and I've been hooked ever since. Not all of them have been faves but she's still a must read author.

I live a couple miles outside of OC, NJ and love going to the beach by myself with my kindle or a physical book. I have a problem DNF'ing a book too. I did do that with Romantic Comedy though.

Oh, you now have me listening to The Bodyguard and I like it so far. It's either because of you or Shawnaci (sp) that I've been reading romance again. I had given it up over ten years ago.
Another interesting feature for listening to books is ordering Alexa to read for you (the app will do, no need of the device). It works only with books that are on your Kindle, but it helps a lot (I use it while jogging).

SPOTIFY PREMIUM CAPS AT 15 LISTENING HOURS WHICH SUCKS most books are longer 😭😤 you have to buy more hours separately or finish by reading the actual book not listening if you don’t want to spend the extra coin on more listening hours . It sucks should be no limit to reading hours like there’s no limit to music hours

@khalilahd. she does have a Riley Thorn Series I have been reading. It's funny, some decent banter, but again, some things I don't like as well. There is nothing wrong with just not reading an author you gave a shot and don't like. I will do that and then in future look to see what they have and give another book a shot. You see for the most part we have similar taste in romance books so because you don't like Lucy Score I haven't read from her because I feel like all your points are so valid. With that being said, I would've dnfed it. I'm such a dnf stan and don't feel guilty afterward. I don't like wasting my time on bad content. This year in particular has been my year of dnfs.
