I was at an MXPX show right before the pandemic and Rehasher started playing as the opening band and I immediately turned to my friend and said THATS ROGER LIMA I KNOW IT and it was an unbelievable surprise. Gotta see LTJ when things resume in NY
my favorite ska band of all time and to be fair that is a compliment because we have so many legends like the bosstones and reel big fish still making music. LTJ always had the most fun live shows in my opinion
I'm happy to say that my 2-year-old that was born in March 2020, this is his favorite song! He dances around to it and loves it. And the message is awesome, the energy is awesome, I love Less Than Jake. By far the best pandemic song
How did everything become this way? Waste away another day There’s no shows, there’s nowhere to go Drop me off a hundred miles from here Some place I can disappear and stay frozen Melt me when doors are finally open (finally open) Remember every moment and all the years of hoping And all the friends I’ve seen, remember what they mean When it comes around again, sing every song to the bitter end ‘Cause you know it’s more than notes and words It’s in-between the lines , it’s understood In-between the lines it’s understood How did Andy spend his passing time? Twisting smokes and sipping wine Just do you hate whatever gets you through? And I wouldn’t go as far to say I’m never gonna feel the same I’m still limited by this life that I’ve been living (I’ve been living) Remember every moment and all the years of hoping And all the friends I’ve seen, remember what they mean When it comes around again, sing every song to the bitter end ‘Cause you know it’s more than notes and words It’s in-between the lines , it’s understood In-between the lines it’s understood Hang on, hang on We’ll be there soon
Roger's voice is awesome- he and Chris are the dynamic duo. Thank you LTJ for making this past year bearable with your music- can't wait to see you all live in MA!
I've loved this band for 22 years. They just didn't drop off. It's a shame they don't get taken "seriously" because of their genre, because they deserve a lot more appreciation than they get from the industry.
Holy heckmuffins a new Less Than Jake song!! This was such a delight to hear in these crazy stressful times, and it really brightened up my day. You guys have been my favorite band for 20 years running and you always seem to write just the right songs for what's going on life. Keep on rockin' guys!
You guys were my favorite band for a long time when I was a teenager! Such Nostalgia re-finding you again it makes me so happy. I've listened to this song over and over again
Vinnie played a lot of important roles in the band, but his drumming was always pedestrian. The fill at 0:54 is more interesting than anything he did in 30 years behind the kit. It caught me by surprise, and I realized that in two decades listening to these guys, no drum part has ever jumped out at me until hearing that fill. I don't mean to rag on the guy. He was the heart of the band in a lot of respects, and I'm sure his departure will be felt in many ways, but I don't think we need to worry about the drum parts.
@@marcoshuerta7255 Nah. That part is fun, but it's still just "left-right-left-right" single stroke fills in a pretty basic rhythm. If that's his high watermark, it only proves my point. I actually think the intro to Al's War is a slightly more interesting version of the same idea. If you listen to the fill this new guy does around 0:54, you can hear him leading with the double hits on the bass drum and using the snare to accent on the up beats. It creates a really cool dynamic. Vinnie never did stuff like that. But as I said, I'm not here to bring the guy down. I was just responding to the original poster that his drumming is not difficult to replace. It's the other stuff he brought to the band that will be difficult to replace.
The ending ska reggae part is awesome. Some of ltj’s songs more recent songs are formulative when it comes to horn parts, not many solo’s.. this one is top notch..congrats guys on the new song
i kinda remember the day i heard them for the first time is blew my mind you know i knew ska the specials bob marly but nothing like that ive been a fan ever since
Jumped here from The Science Of Selling Yourself Short, which is still in a 'best of' playlist of mine from way too many years ago. Love you guys, thanks for existing
Just bought the 3 songs from this.. all fantastic!! (never disappointed anyway) AND, JR does Lead Vocals on the 3rd track "The Sit Around". JR, why have you been hiding that beautiful voice all this time? All of your guys' voices blend together so harmoniously!!
These guys never make a bad song. Legends in my eyes
Roger is one of the Best vocalist around.
Chris and Roger sound like magic as a duo too. They compliment each other perfectly.

Truly
Buddy with hair = Tony Hawk.
Was thinking the same!!!
You made me double check and you’re right
😂😂😂
Lol
LTJ is not only underrated, they actually might be the best.
They are the best
Haven’t listened to Streetlight Manifesto enough?
my favorite ska band of all time and to be fair that is a compliment because we have so many legends like the bosstones and reel big fish still making music. LTJ always had the most fun live shows in my opinion
Biden/Harris/LTJ 2020
the503CreepOut not sure how that’s related to the comments, but if LTJ is supporting Biden/Harris that’s awesome

Watching them smile while playing gives me great joy
Please don't ever break up.
I remember listening to Losing Streak and Pezcore on my walkman in 1998 walking to and from school. You guys were a cornerstone of my youth.

I like these home videos because I like to see everyone’s decorations. The music is just a bonus.
It's sad how many bands I grew up with have faded into obscurity. You're still on my playlist.
The production sounds like the GNVFLA record
And if you really listen, also in with the out crowd
Less Than Jake never make a bad songs. Always make my day since 2003...
I love that over all this time rogers voice hasnt changed, one of my faves is 'my very own flag' and 'automatic'
Less than Jake never fail to amaze. So much love for these guys.
Any artist who waste this opportunity to create something is a fool. Great classic sound!
Please just make more. Too easy for you guys. Much love since 98💙
You guys were my favorite band for a long time when I was a teenager! Such Nostalgia re-finding you again it makes me so happy. I've listened to this song over and over again

Gonna be real - I was wicked worried about the new drum parts but this is solid and I'm stoked to hear more
I wonder who's writing the lyrics now
