- Can Honor finally surpass Huawei in terms of cameras. I am checking out their current flagship smartphones the Magic 5 Pro and Mate 50 Pro in terms of cameras.
Is there a clear winner?
Did Honor really improve a lot?
Is it enough for Honor to surpass Huawei?
Man I really love your work, keep it up with these great reviews!
Thanks
Another great review, thank you!!

No
@@lltechview thanks man😊
@@lltechview among Huawei mate 50 pro and honor magic 5 pro which one you will select as your primary device?

@@lltechview thanks for your valuable opinion. Best wishes for you 😊
HUAWEI is the best no matter what(^~^)
Which camera phone did you use for selfie recording at the end of the video?
Xiaomi 13 Pro. You can see it briefly written on the screen at the end of the video. I usually write it there or the beginning or in the description.
@@lltechview this camera is awesome, very Sharp video and good color. But it is front camera or rear camera?

Hey can you use Huawei share on the magic pro 5?

Il magic 5 pro che utilizzi ha le patch di marzo?
Yeah still on march
Hi sir plees mate 50 pro vs p60 pro test camera plees im ruqust
Which is better?
How can mate 50 pro take pictures in 32mp
Probably upscaling
slow mo 480p which mate 40 did badly.line skip Is the mate 50 better?? Why NO ONE ever even mentions slow mo??family swimming P50 recorded excellent 240p 480p would at times been amazing.WILL YOU maybe add a moment to review slow mo capabilities..PLEASE..yours is one of the very best channels
Thanks you very mutch, very goog vidéo, Honor make a very good job ! But Honor photo seem less natural because color profil is too warm. in some cases just lowering the temperature improves the photo
love the color of front facing camera of mate i think it's more natural
How dose the Honor 90 pro compair ? At $445 with excellent cameras & screen it seems great value..
You can never compare a mid range to a flagship. It would be unfair to the mid ranger. Flagships are flagships for a reason.
Magic 5 Pro wins on zoom shots !!!! 👈❤️
In videography Magic did do surprisingly better than M50, it is of course a newer flagship so it should be better. Pictures are pretty much similar, as they are with almost all top flagships these days, so it really comes down to your taste. Looking forward to p60 tho!
Btw I'm surprised M50 has edge detection errors, in your selfies it always messed up your right ear.
mate 50 pro swipes video terribly. I would say that is disgusting for a flagship in 2023. but the magician in this regard is very good
@@iron_solari its actually a 2022 flagship mate, and it aint terrible. Just behind Samsung, Apple and this Magic variant. P60 is the real disappointment in that regards.
In short, regardless of lighting and colors, the intense use of artificial intelligence in the rear camera of the Honor Magic 5 Pro makes the photos look a little like they were made by the app "Remini".
And the selfie of mate 50 pro does work similar to Remini, you would see smudges on skin/faces, like it's terribly edited to look amazing. It's disgusting. And the low-light selfie is even worse, totally removes the skin texture. 😅
Free magic 5 pro thanks 😍😍😍
Honor color building and sea looks purple and bad details compared to mate 50 pro 🤦
Thanks for the review
I prefer the honor!
thanks
Honao and Huawei are same company internally
Honor is independent since a few years.
In the beginning they were under HUAWEI, but they parted ways due to all those U.S bans. HUAWEI has better cameras I would say, (haven't watched this video yet)
Edit: In video Magic smoked M50 - reasonable for a newer flagship, tho Im somewhat sure P60 would win
More real colors on Mate 50 pro
Yeah the Magic 5 Pro is beautifying a bit

MUITO BOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Despite the more natural Mate, I prefer the more vivid tones of the Honor and it seems to me that in general it has more details, except at very high zoom and in very precarious light situations.
But I keep thinking... more saturated tones and excessive sharpness, so why leave out the S23u and insist on a cell phone that does the same and, being quite honest, sometimes goes beyond the Samsung? I just don't understand... the worst thing is that as far as I know, they don't pay you to be a sponsor of Chinese brands... I really don't understand... in 85% of the channels, S23u always appears, for being one of the top 3, even no big sensors, but some of the best HDR and image processing around.
Congratulations for the excellent comparison... I think it's worth having 1 frame comparing the HD modes of both... suggestion only. ;)
In my tests the S23Ultra output was too sharpened up and together with the oversaturatiom that created a very artifical look. Like the Honor keeps a bit of shadow where the Samsung just simply deletes any hint of shadows in a shot.
@@lltechview a high level of HDR can be good or not depending on the scene see the example of the x90 pro which I believe is the king of HDR it tends to do this even more intensely than the Samsung as the sharpness and saturation also depend on the scene that in some cases it can be something good or bad... I've seen several comparisons where the Honor Magic 5 pro saturates and brings a more exaggerated sharpness than the s23 Ultra and this is something highlighted by the comparison commentator himself... unfortunately this is one of the few channels that puts aside one of the three best cell phones that you see compared to most channels and that's really a shame because I really like your work I'm always following and I recommend your channel.
@@isaquesperandio162 In my time with the Galaxy S23 Ultra it simply did not convince me
So you can use the Vivid Mode on the Mate 50 Pro.
Mate40 Pro destroys both phones you have today easy :D
