The 1st of February is a special date in the Irish calendar. For many, it is the feast day of St. Brigid, to others it marks Imbolg, one of the older Celtic quarter days, while for others it announces the start of Spring.
It’s fairly well established that many Christian feast days in Ireland were built upon older pre-Christian quarter calendar dates and St. Brigid’s Day is no exception. The 1st of February marks the start of Spring or Imbolg, the 1st of May/Bealtaine marks the start of Summer, the 1st of August/Lughnasa marks the start of Autumn, while the 1st of November/Samhain marks the start of Winter.

I hope that Celtic paganism revives and becomes dominant in Ireland! This is the only way the Ireland would re-unite!

@@Texasmade74 Yes, but it is not dominant yet! It must also change the mindset of Irish (and other Celtic people) and then they must help their brothers and sisters overseas in North America and Pacific (New Zealand and Australia) to abandon the way of 'St.Patrick' and follow the path of their ancestors!

Wasn't there a St. Bridget? I suppose there may have been hint of overlap to present 'easier acceptance' by the tribes of Eire. There probably was I guess.

Síle Denvir is the singer and Louise Mulcahy is playing the pipes. I don't know who's playing the concertina (I think that's what that is) though.

You can forget about Christianity, the religion was removed, making 12 out of a primal 13. A Saviour/ Redeemer pair, similar, especially well-indicated for us, is Branwen and her son Omketcecwyeq, the First Celt... Only religion that causes people to join a true race can have any effect or dispensation here, in the land best called Alba Nuadhl...
