I would love to see a Joe Diamond guide at some point. Very strange character but seems very good.
I like when you go through all packs for other cards and upgrades. You did it for Agnes for example.
Zoye really opens up to lot of interesting things with new packs.
Act of Desperation is super good for action and resource economy. Especially with big guns or upgraded .45 thompson.
And upgraded enhanced blade for horor heal.
I prefer to put ward of protection always with those 5card splash characters :) even with Zoye. (And consider deny existence as well)
Another tip when you have more packs is Something worth fighting for. Great horror soak for guardians that will not slow you down.
Heroic rescue is very solid with Zoye. Cross+guard dog+heroic rescue can make attack of opportunity on your engaged seeker to 3dmg testless action free kill. Seems like lot of hoops but in mutliplayer its pretty normal for Zoye that you need to rescue somebody :)
Thanks for the comment. The reason we aren't going through all cycles is because this series of deck guides is focused on the investigator's cycle because we are building the deck only for players who may only have that cycle.
We will be have future deck guides that encompass multiple cycles.
@@PlayingBoardGames Yes I know. But sometimes after initial build you are going through other cycles. That is really helpful for a lot of players. Anyway great job with content!!
Currently playing and enjoying Zoey with splash Lonnie Ritter for soak/healing and 2x "Not without a fight!". Engaging swarm enemies for so much money.

I personally LOVE The Circle Undone. I think it's my favorite campaign.
But, having said that, I can totally see why people would hate many of those scenarios. It is extremely punishing with a lot to keep track of. But it brings the themes of despair and inevitability to live in a way that feels most authentic to Lovecraft's original work. Plus, I enjoy knowing that I can come back to it and try to do better. Wages of Sin in particular I enjoy for that reason. But that's just me.
But the feeling when you put your redeemed cultist on the throne of the lodge...
Thanks for the video guys. I'm unsure about having both Beat Cop and Guard Dog though given there's only 1 ally slot. Thoughts?
I'm surprised, you did not consider Elusive for her? I agree, that her weakness can be pretty soft more often than not, but when it does trigger late in a scenario, in particular on one of the bigger maps, it can become an auto mental trauma. Elusive is better in that regard than Shortcut, because it can cover several move actions at once. (Though I think, there is space for both in a Zoey deck, would probably rather trash Liquid Courage.)
I think that when playing without the taboo list, Elusive is a option for Zoey. I agree that cutting a Liquid Courage would be a good choice here, but if another player has the Shortcuts, slot those Elusives into the deck in their place.

What cards would you give up for upgrades? I’m playing this deck for my first time doing a campaign but I’m having trouble figuring out what is a must keep vs expendable
I wouldn't cut anything that allows you to kill enemies (.45 Automatic, Machete, Vicious Blow, Guard Dog, etc), but you could look at cutting Emergency Aid, Unexpected Courage, Liquid Courage, etc for those new cards.

Seems like Charisma would be really helpful to have Upgraded Beat Cop and Brother Xavier both out at the same time.
Charisma is often really good, yeah. And Zoe has an easy enough time paying for a couple of friends.
I didn’t get Painkillers, Emergency Aid, or Prepared in my copy of Dunwich…that normal?
They should be in the mythos packs of the Dunwich Legacy cycle, I believe.

I guess holy rosary is more on flavor for Zoey than liquid courage :-D
Also don't try liquid courage with painkillers at home, kids ;-)
Zoey has an indirect action efficiency. Since she's gaining resources from her reaction ability, she can spend her actions doing more useful things.
Smite the Wicked has a lot of upside in that sometimes the Wicked is worth XP, in which case fishing it out of the encounter deck is a bonus.
Or it can be the Wizard of the Order, who has no XP and is particularly fun if spawning in the engine of the Essex Country Express.
