Thank you for addressing this doctor! I look forward to finding out more about neurological issues this can cause.

Thank you! I had pain at epidural site for months after. Thankful it went away, but I wonder if it could have been a leak? Looking forward to the follow up video as I'm still looking for answers for my daughter. She first passed out a few months after a riding accident that could have impacted her spine in some way.

Hi Dana, thank you for your comment. I am happy to hear that your injection site for the epidural is feeling better. While you body takes some time to heal it can take some time to close off the hole created to stop the CSF leak. How long this takes is individual and specific to each person. Some heal faster than others and some can take up to several years! I am sorry to hear that your daughter is struggling. Are there any symptoms you would like me to address in regards to the spinal leak?

@@SPMLongCovid thank you for the reply. I'm curious if a hard hit, jolting and bending the spine could cause any leak, and if that could cause orthostatic hypotension and/or dysautonomia.

Did your daughter have immediate symptoms after her fall or was it weeks or months later?

@@SPMLongCovid I don't know for certain when the lightheadedness when standing started bc I don't think she told me right away. The fall happened mid March and then she passed out that August.
