    there is a photo sensitive liquid when mixed with green ink and written on a white paper, it appears transparent and when viewed through purple lenses we could see the written text. what is the phenomenon behind it or is it a simple trick. Ive seen a text written with red marker on white paper and with red lenses it becomes invisible but visible without glasses. my question is how to do this vice versa. invisible to naked eye but visible through lenses. is it a combination of colors with text and glasses or is it a specific color that appears differently when viewed through purple shade.

      The polaroids have perpendicular axes .
      That is to say that the first polaroid used is already positioned perpendicular to the second one in the stand itself so your understanding is perfect !

      You can find good filters on amazon for relatively low prices. Here is an example : www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B004X3XFHU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
      These are NOT the filters used in the video but they are more than sufficient to do such an experiment. If you're looking for polarizing filters to do this kind of experiences, search for "linear polarizing filters" and not "circular polarizing filters". Also, don't waste your money on filter that are made for photography (big round shaped ones usually), small square shaped linear filters are usually the less expensive and the most practical.

    Sir did u put second Polaroid perpendicular to first Polaroid if yes then angle must be 90° and according to malus law cos 90° =0 and intensity should be 0.
    Plz explain this

    • @alphakumar6511
      @alphakumar6511 4 года назад

      He had already made the second polarizer stand in at 90° angle to the first one.So when you see it parallel it is 90° and when you see it perpendicular it is parallel.So this is happening.

    • @alphakumar6511

      In simple words when he has kept polarizer on table they are already at 90°.Don't think they are parallel.

    did anyone notice that the reflection of the torch on the tile .... it's reduced intensity...as we know that reflection gives us 100% polarization...
