I’ve heard people having tune issues shutting off the rear 02s anyway, just do the spark plug anti fouler truck on your rear O2s to shut your check engine light off, I’ve been running them a while with no light..
@@Septagrim any non fouler that has the same threads as your 02 sensor.. You have to stack 2 of them on each downstream sensor and drill out the one that the sensor is going into.. There are some vidz on YT now explaining how to do it if you need help..

ik im late but for people that read this in the future, acceleration wont change much at all especially if you're stock otherwise, HOWEVER - the top end will get a hell of a lot better if tuned properly
Hey so I added an SR Performance CAI and it idles funny it wants to dip below 500rpm almost like a lope. But it’s stock. So I just ordered this tuner is it doing that because the CAI? I replaced the spark plugs and still wants to do it would this tuner and tuning it fix that low RPM issue ?
Idle always fluctuates noticeably on these cars when climate is on. Mine has the Steeda Intake and has never fluctuated like that though. Double check that you plugged the MAF back in after you were done. I've forgotten to do that after a repair before. With the tuner you can also try adjusting the minimum idle RPM. What you're describing could also be connected to ignition coils.
I have the same tuner and wasn't impressed. I have 4 custom tunes and been trying to sell it....seems no one wants to buy it. Rather with I had gave done a full dyno tune.
@@TheMikeyC I like it for a few of the simple adjustments it allows. Tire size and running OR x-pipe if you're into that. Also allows you to adjust for rear gears. Custom Dyno tune will almost always be superior, but with these motors, without heavy modification, there's only so much a tune will do.
@@oiloctane5400 Would it also be something connected to the intake having a leak? I noticed once i put in my ne intake that it ran worse and was pulling either too much gas or an incorrect mixture otherwise. I charged out the injectors and got a ne PMAS 85 with 28lb injectors so now I am planning to get a tune to adjust accordingly. I really have limited experience and just hoping for the best when I get the new SCT.
I’ve had my SCT for a few months now. I have went through 4 custom tunes from SCT. And I don’t like them at all!! I’ve tried everything and the car just shifts way to high and way to hard!! Sounds better. Daily driving is better. But racing not so much. I feel like I’m hurting my car. Not a good review from me at all!!!
Considering the stock compression on the 4.6 2v 87 octane would be ideal
Where can i go to download a custom tune for my 2002 GT 4.6 with Stage III Comp Cams
so i can't have this because I live in Cali?
Yessir i believe so even when you go to program it for updates it says it will shut off if your from cali
Hey brother any more videos on the way?

Can you use it to program flexfuel?
Every time he says "uhh" take a shot😂
If we took a shot everytime he said that we'd be hospitalized at the least!
😂😂😂
where did you get the sct4 and be be able to have the rear o2s shut off?
That’s what I’m trying to figure out, idk if they come updated out the box and I don’t really want a custom tune rn

Man hoped so much on showing accelerstion with just the sct tune. Very sad not to see something, or wasnt there some difference ?

Are you trying to sell the tuner? lol
this is exactly what i thought like maybe if i was only racing the car then maybe but my car a daily i don’t get about a 10 mph difference lmao
SO THAT MEANS YOU CAN NOT BUY IT IN CALIFORNIA
i mean you can probably buy it anyways off like amazon or something. id try getting a PO box in a different state if that fails tho
I have been trying to find a mustang gt in this color with black leather interior here in California for months now any chance you want to sell it ???
