Was awesome to watch the Aztecs when I was a kid! The matches were always packed and there were tons of big name players to see. Like, comment, and subscribe to get Finners to 1000 subs.
4:44 By "20,000 fans a season", I assume you meant 20,000 per *game*. (They actually drew more than 23K per game four years in a row, including a peak of 32,775 in 1977.) But Minnesota didn't win four straight Soccer Bowls - in fact, they never won even one! (You might be thinking of the Cosmos, who won four Soccer Bowls in six years from 1977-82.)
I was a Vancouver Whitecaps season ticket holder in 1979.
The year the WON!!! vs NY Cosmos.
The village of Vancouver was proud.
Excellent content and presentation.
Thanks for your effort.
Thank you!
I can't imagine what it would have been like to have been a fan of the New York Cosmos, born in 1992 so the NASL & the Cosmos were dead by that point.
Hadn't heard about this before, thanks for sharing
No worries pal
i would love New York Cosmos to be in the MLS.Looks like never gonna happen
Franchises are often being added to the MLS so you never know
I would love the New York CIty FC to take up the Cosmos moninker.

That's amazing you got to see them, such a shame it didn't work out as I think the league would have been amazing had it worked out
