  • Taking a look at the (what seems to be) Kentucky only offering... Ancient Age 90 proof. Is it the same as Ancient Ancient Age?

When I moved to Frankfort KY in 1991, I worked across the street from the big distillery called Ancient Age, and they later changed the name to Buffalo Trace, where buffalo used to cross the Kentucky River, also known as Frank's Ford, and during the Civil War a fort with earth walls and cannons above the river on top of a nearby hill.

I’m from northeast Ohio. Would be interesting if you could do some reviews of bottles from distilleries right here in the state.

I have reviewed Middle West Spirits. I do have a Western Reserve 14 year I got as a gift about 3 years back, but unopened for special occasion... any suggestions? I would appreciate it!

@@mywhiskeyden-davidelliott Middlewest and Western Reserve popped in my mind first. There’s Cleveland Underground and Watershed that sound interesting as well.

@@mywhiskeyden-davidelliott just found that 7 Brothers distillery is now open (or reopening). Have a Single malt that sounds interesting as well
