I believe she does them every friday and even has a series called 15 days of foundation where she tests out 15 foundations every day (pre-recorded of course) however, she does have a really specific skin type (and dry skin) so her reviews may not be helpful for you but i do recommend checking her out!
🙋♀️after trying numerous foundations, I have finallyyy found the best for me. L'OREAL 24hr infallible fresh wear. Never had a foundation worked so well, so light weight, and controlled my oils like this. And I was able to test it out past the 20 hr mark (not intentional) and it wore beautifully. Even though I will not be buying these, I'm STILL watching, because I enjoy your channel so much. Thank you Zabrena, God Bless 🦋
I couldn't get that foundation too work for me. I tried several different primers, but I would find that it was simply wiping off of my face after just a few hours. A tiny nose itch would leave a bare patch. I got so frustrated I haven't used it since.
Fellow Floridian here! I have the same issue! EVERY foundation melts off my face and gets weird and separates within 10 minutes of being outside in the humidity. And I don't even have SUPER oily skin. I'm more combo/borderline oily in the Summer. The Pur is actually amazing for this! The formula is amazing and even through sweating like crazy (I was out yesterday and my hair and body was literally drenched), it somehow fades gracefully. When I got home, the coverage wasn't all there, but my skin looked good. It didn't look like there was this weird makeup-y texture on my face like most foundations tend to cause.

I find so many foundations look like your results with Juvia's Place on my face. The way the product sat on your skin, that's hard for me to put into words when I've tried to describe what a foundation looks like on my skin. Out of all of those foundations, PUR is the only one I would be willing to try. But I tried the No.7 foundation and love the way it wears. Thanks so much for a great informative video Zabrena. So glad I’m not the only one who felt like the Juvia’s Place foundation was not full coverage and/or flattering for oilier complexions. Maybe it’s the lighter shades?
I've wondered the same thing because many of the lighter skinned oily gals I watch have had issues with it, but the darker skinned gals seem to adore it. I seriously wonder if there's some sort of formula difference between the lighter and darker shades or if us light and pale oily gals just have altogether different types of oily skin than darker oily skinner gals, cuz my analytical brain can't make sense of it.
@@TwilightsKisses fair enough. I was just speaking based from what I'd seen in viewing multiple reviews of it. The biggest issues I'd seen with it seemed to be with the lighter shades but it certainly may not be limited to the lighter shades.

I have the same feelings as you on the Juvia’s Place foundation as well as with the new Dream Urban Cover. i didn’t like either for the same reasons. I love however the PUR foundation. It wears so beautifully on my skin. i have not tired the other two that you reviewed but i will say the PUR foundation is my new favorite! You are glowing beautifully as always!😊❤️
I've been using Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless for years. (Early 40s, oily skin, hot climate.) I keep trying other foundations, mostly cuz of FOMO, thinking I'll find something new & better. But everything I try does that thing like these first 2 did, sits on top of my skin and shows every pore! I always go back to the Fit Me!
I don’t have oily skin but I work in a kitchen and with the heat, sweat, and oil in he air from the fryers and stuff I need a matte foundation that can make it through so your recommendations are great! Been using the cover girl outlast and soap and glory kickass foundations due to you and they work! So thanks.

Been using it for months and if I moisturise really well (moisturiser, sunscreen and moisturising primer lol I have dry skin) it looks beautiful on. My mum likes it too and she has oily skin x

I wish I had seen this review earlier in the day. I purchased and wore the Juvia’s Place foundation today. I completely agree 100% with your review. I’m fair with combo skin and some texture and moderate sized pores. I used it in combo with the Tacha silk primer and will be returning it tomorrow. It sat on top of my skin accentuating texture with lots of patchiness even at the four hour mark.
I tried the PUR 4 in 1 and I am impressed. I used a primer, and used one pump of foundation, which came out to a light to medium coverage. it held up to the Midwest heat and humidity, and I used a setting spray. thanks for the test.

I've enjoyed the Pur foundation also. I haven't tried the others, but I am interested in the Uoma foundation. It sounds like a good summer foundation. I have normal to dry skin. But like most people, I can get a little "dewy" in the summer heat. Great video!
Love you Zabrena! I have dry skin and I LOVE the Juvias Place foundation! Although it’s marketed as a matte foundation, I found that it wore beautifully for 10+ hours on my skin! I prepped my skin like I always do with my very hydrating skincare routine. I also paired it with the Elf hydrating primer and it’s amazing! 💖

Brilliant reviews, thanks awfully for doing them. It must have taken you forever. Always touch and go buying foundations online if you haven't swatched or been colour matched in store. The amount of colour MISS matches I've had I can't bare thinking about. I have a normal/combination skin, and over the years have used so many foundations, but I've now found my favourites. Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere, Tarte Face Tape, Bare Minerals Barepro, and Charlotte Tilbury Magic. The Pur looks worth a try as well 💖.

MM Nilsson Physician’s Formula Healthy Foundation is a holy grail foundation for me. It’s simply stunning. I got it for Christmas and didn’t touch another foundation for 2 months. And they just released new fair shades!!

Not surprised you rated PUR so highly. I have combination skin, and avoid parabens in anything I put on my skin (it causes/ed terrible acne), and have used their 3-in-1 pressed powder and concealer for years (I have combination/more on the dry side skin with hereditary dark circles under my eyes). I've always been able to get away with not wearing a foundation, but I'm starting to notice that I may have to start using one again (I'm 50 now). I'm going to definitely look into them (seeing how the one from Bourjois I was looking at is pretty steep in price...). Why didn't I think of them first?!! Thanks Zabrena!
I bought the Juvia's foundation and tried once before just to make sure it is a full coverage, which I don't think it is and removed it right away. I really don't know how it is, but after watching this video I think I will return it...lol! That's shows how I trust on your judgment.

I love your foundation reviews and really appreciate all the work you put into them! And I know that if Zabrena says it’s good I can be confident that I will like it. Case in point - No 7 serum foundation. I had been using It Cosmetics Bye Bye lines and I LOVED it! But then they discontinued it and I tried several other options. After seeing your review on the No 7 foundation I went on the lookout for it. 4 stores later I found it and I LOVE it! It is the closest performing to Bye Bye lines that I have found. Thank you for your in-depth foundation reviews! I watch other influencers too, but they all seem to have dry/normal/combination skin and so their recommendations don't usually work for me. While you and I have different skin tones, I can be certain that your recommendations will suit my oily skin and humid weather best out of all the recommendations out there.
I'm loving the Uoma foundation. They have different formulas depending on your complexion which I think is a very neat concept. I'm in the Fair Lady (fair skin) category and the brand says that the common concern with this skin type is premature aging and most common skin type is dry/combination skin - which is pretty accurate for me! The only problem is with the color I choose, Fair Lady - T3N, which is supposed to be neutral but it looks pretty yellow on me.
Your curls look great. I've had great success with the Not Your Mother's Curl Talk line. I love everything in that line so much better than Devacurl, and it's so much cheaper.
I'm the exact opposite, lol! The Not Your Mother's Curl line smells so horrible to me that I just cannot deal with it. I'm super curly though, and use the Decadence line from Deva Curl.
I would love your review of the Physician’s Formula Healthy Foundation and Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation now that they both have new fair shades! Though I feel like the Flower Beauty might not be best with oily skin in the summer (I’ve heard if you set it with a mattifying powder it looks beautiful!).
I'm glad I watched your review of the new Maybelline foundation before I bought it. Most influencers have given it a pass but your close up convinced me. I have yet to find a drug store foundation that doesn't break up or cause texture issues. Thank you.

I have the Juvia’s place in Vienna and it’s my perfect shade however it can get a little cakey around my t zone and YES I definitely agree that it isn’t even that full coverage as claimed since you do need to layer it up under certain problem areas. I’m interested in trying out the maybelline urban cover still so hopefully it works out for my dry skin 😅
I've been interested in most of these foundations. Why does it seem so difficult to choose a shade lately?? Thrilled to see the Pur worked well for you, our skin type and shade is similar so I really value your reviews. I was thinking the LP4 shade would work for me, as well, but it looked really yellow on your skin so again, not sure now. There's no way I'd even think of choosing a shade of the Juvia's Place, those shades made it seem far too hard to choose. I think I'll stick to wanting the Pur and just try to find the same shade with a more pink undertone. Great video as usual - I know it's harder for you to make these comparison videos but I really appreciate it!!

@@melina22807 yes I used the makeup forever mattifying primer, fenty banana powder and urban decay oil control setting spray. It definitely holds up allot better on my nose n chin than any others I've tried! But while I can live without it with this foundation I always keep a powder foundation in my purse for touch ups through the day though! Hope it helps! Oily skin is a pain..

I always love your Foundation reviews because I also live in Florida and work outside in a theme park, have oily skin, and am just hoping my makeup can hang with me in this weather. I almost picked up Juvia’s Place but they were out of my shade in Ulta, but based on your review I’m glad I didn’t- and this is the second positive review I’ve heard about the PÜR foundation, so I’ll look into that, I think the price is good, but a shade range that size could be a little daunting to sift through, even though I’m glad they tried to include everyone.
Yes! Finally someone else who had same exact issues with Juvias Place foundation that I did! Honestly worst I've ever tried, I returned to ULTA after trying it 3 times with different primers and powders.
Just want to tell you got my first lash order. I generally don’t use lashes, the band always make my eyes itch. I must say I was so pleasantly surprised how supple your bands are. I am so very pleased.

You should try Juvias Place again. I would recommend going up one or two shades up. I wear Garbon which appears dark for me but it oxides to my shade. Many of the shades are similar to each other but its all about undertone with this foundation. I hope to see you try it again with the right shade.

Propertyrus 2 I love it too. It’s my holy grail drugstore foundation and I have dry skin. Looks flawless and doesn’t come off til I take it off.

I’m a Mac 47 with dry skin and I had the same problem and returned it after three days it isn’t not about the skin color.

Thank you so much for another quality video! I am 40 years old, with fair skin with a yellow undertone and my skin is normal dry. I have the same feelings as you on the Juvia’s Place foundation as well as with the new Dream Urban Cover. i didn’t like either for the same reasons. I love however the PUR foundation. It wears so beautifully on my skin. i have not tired the other two that you reviewed but i will say the PUR foundation is my new favorite! You are glowing beautifully as always!😊❤️
Can you test out Non-comenagentic foundations, BB creams, or tinted moisturizers???
I've been using Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless for years. (Early 40s, oily skin, hot climate.) I keep trying other foundations, mostly cuz of FOMO, thinking I'll find something new & better. But everything I try does that thing like these first 2 did, sits on top of my skin and shows every pore! I always go back to the Fit Me!
I don’t have oily skin but I work in a kitchen and with the heat, sweat, and oil in he air from the fryers and stuff I need a matte foundation that can make it through so your recommendations are great! Been using the cover girl outlast and soap and glory kickass foundations due to you and they work! So thanks.
I really appreciate how much time you invest in your reviews and wear tests! I'm loving my Bare Minerals Bare Pro liquid foundation atm. Been using it for months and if I moisturise really well (moisturiser, sunscreen and moisturising primer lol I have dry skin) it looks beautiful on. My mum likes it too and she has oily skin x

I wish I had watched this video before buying the Juvia foundation. I am also an oily Florida girl and was very disappointed on how it lays on the skin. I looked like I had leprosy. It was not becoming. Thank you Zabrena for your honesty but I especially love your delivery, quick and to the point!

I wish I had seen this review earlier in the day. I purchased and wore the Juvia’s Place foundation today. I completely agree 100% with your review. I’m fair with combo skin and some texture and moderate sized pores. I used it in combo with the Tacha silk primer and will be returning it tomorrow. It sat on top of my skin accentuating texture with lots of patchiness even at the four hour mark.

I tried the PUR 4 in 1 and I am impressed. I used a primer, and used one pump of foundation, which came out to a light to medium coverage. it held up to the Midwest heat and humidity, and I used a setting spray. thanks for the test.
My fav foundation (right now)? IT Cosmetics foundation. Thanks for these reviews Zabrena. It keeps me from making an impulse purchase.

I've enjoyed the Pur foundation also. I haven't tried the others, but I am interested in the Uoma foundation. It sounds like a good summer foundation. I have normal to dry skin. But like most people, I can get a little "dewy" in the summer heat. Great video!
Love you Zabrena! I have dry skin and I LOVE the Juvias Place foundation! Although it’s marketed as a matte foundation, I found that it wore beautifully for 10+ hours on my skin! I prepped my skin like I always do with my very hydrating skincare routine. I also paired it with the Elf hydrating primer and it’s amazing! 💖

Brilliant reviews, thanks awfully for doing them. It must have taken you forever. Always touch and go buying foundations online if you haven't swatched or been colour matched in store. The amount of colour MISS matches I've had I can't bare thinking about. I have a normal/combination skin, and over the years have used so many foundations, but I've now found my favourites. Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere, Tarte Face Tape, Bare Minerals Barepro, and Charlotte Tilbury Magic. The Pur looks worth a try as well 💖.

MM Nilsson Physician’s Formula Healthy Foundation is a holy grail foundation for me. It’s simply stunning. I got it for Christmas and didn’t touch another foundation for 2 months. And they just released new fair shades!!

Not surprised you rated PUR so highly. I have combination skin, and avoid parabens in anything I put on my skin (it causes/ed terrible acne), and have used their 3-in-1 pressed powder and concealer for years (I have combination/more on the dry side skin with hereditary dark circles under my eyes). I've always been able to get away with not wearing a foundation, but I'm starting to notice that I may have to start using one again (I'm 50 now). I'm going to definitely look into them (seeing how the one from Bourjois I was looking at is pretty steep in price...). Why didn't I think of them first?!! Thanks Zabrena!

I agree with you about the Juvia’s place foundation, it added texture, didn’t last and it emphasized pores and little wrinkles under my eyes! I have combination skin for reference.

I love your foundation reviews and really appreciate all the work you put into them! And I know that if Zabrena says it’s good I can be confident that I will like it. Case in point - No 7 serum foundation. I had been using It Cosmetics Bye Bye lines and I LOVED it! But then they discontinued it and I tried several other options. After seeing your review on the No 7 foundation I went on the lookout for it. 4 stores later I found it and I LOVE it! It is the closest performing to Bye Bye lines that I have found. Thank you for your in-depth foundation reviews! I watch other influencers too, but they all seem to have dry/normal/combination skin and so their recommendations don't usually work for me. While you and I have different skin tones, I can be certain that your recommendations will suit my oily skin and humid weather best out of all the recommendations out there.
I'm loving the Uoma foundation. They have different formulas depending on your complexion which I think is a very neat concept. I'm in the Fair Lady (fair skin) category and the brand says that the common concern with this skin type is premature aging and most common skin type is dry/combination skin - which is pretty accurate for me! The only problem is with the color I choose, Fair Lady - T3N, which is supposed to be neutral but it looks pretty yellow on me.

Your curls look great. I've had great success with the Not Your Mother's Curl Talk line. I love everything in that line so much better than Devacurl, and it's so much cheaper.
I'm the exact opposite, lol! The Not Your Mother's Curl line smells so horrible to me that I just cannot deal with it. I'm super curly though, and use the Decadence line from Deva Curl.

I would love your review of the Physician’s Formula Healthy Foundation and Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation now that they both have new fair shades! Though I feel like the Flower Beauty might not be best with oily skin in the summer (I’ve heard if you set it with a mattifying powder it looks beautiful!).

I'm glad I watched your review of the new Maybelline foundation before I bought it. Most influencers have given it a pass but your close up convinced me. I have yet to find a drug store foundation that doesn't break up or cause texture issues. Thank you.

I have the Juvia’s place in Vienna and it’s my perfect shade however it can get a little cakey around my t zone and YES I definitely agree that it isn’t even that full coverage as claimed since you do need to layer it up under certain problem areas. I’m interested in trying out the maybelline urban cover still so hopefully it works out for my dry skin 😅

I've been interested in most of these foundations. Why does it seem so difficult to choose a shade lately?? Thrilled to see the Pur worked well for you, our skin type and shade is similar so I really value your reviews. I was thinking the LP4 shade would work for me, as well, but it looked really yellow on your skin so again, not sure now. There's no way I'd even think of choosing a shade of the Juvia's Place, those shades made it seem far too hard to choose. I think I'll stick to wanting the Pur and just try to find the same shade with a more pink undertone. Great video as usual - I know it's harder for you to make these comparison videos but I really appreciate it!!

Hi there Gorgeous! Thank you for testing so many foundations. Even though we have different skin types I still find your foundation reviews helpful. I have dry(ish) skin and absolutely love the PUR foundation. I use one pump, maybe less for my entire face and a little bit down the neck.

@@melina22807 yes I used the makeup forever mattifying primer, fenty banana powder and urban decay oil control setting spray. It definitely holds up allot better on my nose n chin than any others I've tried! But while I can live without it with this foundation I always keep a powder foundation in my purse for touch ups through the day though! Hope it helps! Oily skin is a pain..

I always love your Foundation reviews because I also live in Florida and work outside in a theme park, have oily skin, and am just hoping my makeup can hang with me in this weather. I almost picked up Juvia’s Place but they were out of my shade in Ulta, but based on your review I’m glad I didn’t- and this is the second positive review I’ve heard about the PÜR foundation, so I’ll look into that, I think the price is good, but a shade range that size could be a little daunting to sift through, even though I’m glad they tried to include everyone.
Yes! Finally someone else who had same exact issues with Juvias Place foundation that I did! Honestly worst I've ever tried, I returned to ULTA after trying it 3 times with different primers and powders.

You should try Juvias Place again. I would recommend going up one or two shades up. I wear Garbon which appears dark for me but it oxides to my shade. Many of the shades are similar to each other but its all about undertone with this foundation. I hope to see you try it again with the right shade.
