Beautiful well said and covered everything. There was time when it was very polluted with tourist mess but action has kept it well clean and yes Maria she is fighting many legal battles for Matheran.
Great video and useful information. There used to be another point accessible via a narrow path from what is now called Lord's Point. It was closed off, not recommended, and not officially marked on the maps of Matheran. However, the view from there was the best we had ever seen. Only four of my friends and I witnessed why it was known as the original Lord's Point back then. Unfortunately, it no longer exists; the entire section collapsed due to a landslide in 2010, if I remember correctly.
Thanks for sharing this video it's informative

I don't know about other hill stations but one thing is for sure no other place has such peace like Matheran, atleast I never found anywhere else
Each hill station has its own cham, but yes Matheran is a little special. This was probably my 10th trip here!
@@GuidedByGhia I've visited 6 times and everytime for min 3-4 days stay ☺️
Impressive.
Thats How matheran should have been guided.
People have many false assumptions about it.
Most visitors and videos only skim the surface, without covering a majority of what Matheran has to offer
Do a video during the rains .
Will need to invest in a waterproof camera first! Haha
