Replacing broken cracked screen RCA Voyager 7" tablet

Word of warning when looking for a replacement screen... Check check and check again to make sure before you purchase that it is for the correct model. A lot of online places (cough cough Amazon, but also other places) will provide you with models to choose from that you were not looking for. And they may look and sound exactly like yours.
It's almost a bait and switch. Hey... you are looking for model 6873... how about you also choose from all our screens for model 6378. Then you can spend the whole day working up a migraine and getting older from it when you tear up your kids tablet and break the screen only to find they sent you a *similar* model... to be helpful. Oh soooo helpful.

Leo Nidas you will want to get a replacement digitizer screen as long as the LCD is still good and you can still see the picture but can't use the touch screen you will only need to replace the digitizer. You can search by model number or even by putting 7" RCA voyager replacement digitizer in search bar

I think it is only the screen I've cracked a little bit of the screen I can still see everything on the screen just the buttons won't function right but about to buy a new screen from eBay but they have a lot of brands I don't want to purchase the wrong part

I put down the model number then it shows me 7 digitalizar touch screen panel replacement would that be the correct one I have someone telling me it's my LCD but my camera is working perfect everything's working perfect just the part where it is cracked at

Leo Nidas if you can see the picture is good but the touch screen isn't working then it's your digitizer only and not the LCD. The digitsizer screen sits over top the LCD screen. I'll see if I can find a link for you. Your main concern will be the position of the camera hole. You will want to get the one that has the camera hole in the same spot as the one you have

If everything works except where the cracked area is , then it is definitely the digitizer and not the LCD. Be very careful when replacing that you don't pull on the ribbon cable too hard
