2 years ago we drove from Chicago to the Smoky Mountains, then drove straight through Virginia to Ocean City Maryland, my first time seeing the Atlantic, just heavenly, watching the sunrises from the beach was awesome, will always remember the East Coast, love it!
Great video. I understand from your channel that you were a Marine. My son was in the Marine Corps from Aug 2001 to Aug 2012. He was also a Drill Instructor on Parris Island from July 2006 to July 2009 (He spent his entire DI time in Third Battalion Kilo Company). My wife and I relocated from Maryland down to Beaufort, SC on Ladys Island. So, we are about 15 minutes down the road from PI and can hear the recruits firing their rifles on the rifle range. Keep your videos coming.
Thanks Dave!! Your correct, I was in the Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007. I did 3 deployments in the infantry- Afghanistan, 26th MEU and Iraq. I had a friend who reenlisted and was a DI too, ask your son if he knew a Tim Peterson. It would be crazy if they knew eachother!

Love the drone footage. It would be nice to use the drone for shore fishing to show people how to read the surf. It's always difficult to try to explain what to look for but with the drone you can really see the breaks and holes.
I did it in a previous video....I think I called it "beginners guide to surf fishing". I plan to go soon in OC so I'll try to remember to bring it and do it again.

Well we only got to fish on the oceanic pier on Monday. It was to much for my uncle to walk out there so we fished the bulkhead on 2nd street the last 2 days. We got 3 short flounder , spot , sea bass on. The pier. We got tog , sea bass , croaker , one short flounder one 18” flounder and I lost a really nice flounder around 20-22”. We had an awesome time

I haven't heard anything, they stopped showing up a few years ago as the police really started to crack down. Last year I hardly saw any cars at all, I'm hoping this year will be the same. Have a fun trip!
Fantastic video from you as always. Have you heard or know of any explanation as to why Ocean City has gone to the logo it uses now? (Very strange looking logo in my opinion).
@@ReelJayBwhen they changed it I had to give them my 2 cents about how stupid it was. They replied they wanted to give it a younger look with fun things. It looks like something left over from the 70’s.
10 foot rods, to me, work the best. I absolutely love my Penn Fierce 3, 8000 series reel spooled with 50 pound braid. That will pretty much catch anything for me- small kingfish to big drum/stripers. Nice - I like the mavic. I started with the mavic mini and recently upgraded to the mavic mini 3. I love the small size but also having the occusync and the collision avoidance is a nice upgrade for sure !!
