Went there on a student visa back in 2012. Absolutely loved it. That year had the most amount of Irish students as we were told by locals. Normally it would be eastern Europeans present as we were told but that time the Irish flocked. Had a brilliant time. Next time im in Washington or new York I'm definitely going down for a few days. Good memories. Was there for spring break and 4th July. Great atmosphere
Yeah it is really nice. Wish was a little closer to me. Just got back from Florida Keys so check out my new video in a few days. Truly is amazing down there and some great ideas too.

A nice video and a great capture of the vacationers’ perspective. Three agrees in the food suggestions ,thrashers fries and fishers popcorn are the best there, and Shenanigans has good tasting ethnic Irish food and other dishes as well.

The boardwalk haunted house is classic. I love the smell of it. It has this certain smell like nothing else. Thrashers fries with vinegar, candy kitchen, bull on the beach ❤️❤️❤️

@@AlongForTheJourney there's a little thrift store in a church across the street from a basketball court .... I'm not sure the name of the street but it's not far from shenanigans and has some free parking we've been parking there for years whenever we visit Ocean city MD.

I live a half hour north of OC in Rehoboth Beach. Whenever I go to OC I stop by Kirby’s Pub on Coastal Hwy. and 94th St., bayside. Great bar food including steamed shrimp and onions, crab, burgers and “Kirby Fries”. 🍻

That's awesome. You will love it... at the inlet there is a restaurant called the Angler that has pretty good food. My friend swears by it. But if you eat there you get a cruise for 5$ use to be FREE. Not sure if it is during sunset but i would think so.
Also if you like seafood my favorite restaurant is Philips seafood buffet. If go Between 4 and 5 you can save 4 dollars per person i think it is. Amazing. Im hoping to do review on places to eat soon.

This looks so nice and clean. I am assuming this is early spring or fall, due to people’s clothing and not many sunbathing on the beach. I worked in AC during the summer of 1969 and loved every minute, long before casinos and the ruining of the quaint little businesses on the boardwalk. I worked as a waitress and had great best working schedule. I worked 8-noon and 4-8 in the evening. Gave me great beach time each day. It really makes me sick to see what has happened there. I also worked with 2//girls from Ireland. I wish I would have communicated with them. Was there a work release program with them for the summer, I don’t remember after all of these years. When I was in college most of us would go to the shore and work for the summer. Is that still how it is?

Just got back from OC. Didn't have too great a time. On our way there we were in a car accident. I was hurt, in severe pain and was taken to the ER in Easton, MD spent a good part of the day there. Fortunately nothing serious, but very banged up and extremely sore the time I was at the hotel not being able to do much. Hope that next year will make up for it.
Wowwww that's horrible. So sorry and glad it wasn't serious. I am sure it ruined your vacation and you will have to make it up next year for sure. 🤕🤕. Get well soon and keep in touch
For places to eat if you like seafood is Philips seafood buffet. I never miss that. Brass Balls has the best breakfast. Big Peckers bar and grill has rocking tables. Be sure to drive through assateage island the Maryland side. About 20 minutes from boardwalk. You will see wild horses. Frontiertown has really nice waterpark if you have kids. Searocket boat is fun if you like speed and want to get wet. Will usually see dolphins too.
Sorry for delay just pulling into port on cruise ship. We usually stay at condo. But stayed at Marriott on boardwalk many times and always fabulous. On cheaper end we stayed at spinnaker around 27th street. Liked because had a small kitchenette. Thanks for watching. 😎😎⛱⛱👍👍
There is Ruth Chris in Berlin outside ocean city if can afford it. There is an outback but I'm usually there for crabs and seafood. Hopefully someone else will comment for you. 👍👍
It kind of depends on the time you go. Can get rowdy over college and senior week in June. For the the most part people are decent but only takes a few bad apples but that happens in any town. It’s the only beautiful beach I ever went to and thier where needles in the water 🚿 ‘n it was scary!!! Beautiful place and it’s sad we have ruined our ocean 🌊 !!$ my kids won’t be able to swim in it in less than 10 years!!!! Sad asz stuff!’nb
I'm so sorry for your bad experience there. I have been going there for 50 years and never had issues with that. They clean the beach every day and truly believe they are doing all they can to keep it beautiful. But you are right some people don't care and trash everything not just our beaches. And that is sad. We only have 1 planet let's start to take care of it.
Even though I don't consider Ocean City my favorite beach town, I've never seen needles but guess they could wash up anywhere. How frequently is more important, lol, and they don't there. Best boardwalk? Eh, I'll say it's not the worst. The best thing I like about OC, Delaware, OBX, Myrtle Beach is the masses go there, leaving my shore towns less crowded and no major traffic heacaches. No offense.
Thanks for comments Mike. I always go in April and October and not crowded that time of year. Water colder and just more peaceful before crowds move in. There is alot ro zo though. I never get bored there.

You can rent a “tiki boat” sunset cruise through Fishtails restaurant, haven’t rented the tiki boat before but, keep hearing great things about it!
best breakfast in town is Bayside Skillet! dont be worried by the prices plates are HUGE and they encourage sharing!

OC Maryland's boardwalk seems like a smaller version of Wildwood's.
