Not true... I've started learning masri. Every youtube video I've watched they always mention both. I've watched videos from about 9 different male teachers in the same of a few days.
I love the Egyptian dialect. Your teaching is wonderful. I’ve been studying MSA which I find challenging. However, the Egyptian dialect is a little better for me to handle. I just discovered your channel. Thank you.
Hi there iam so happy to hear from you Egyptian accent so it's about 5 years I have been living in Egypt Cairo city so I can't speak Egyptian accent like peoples so I wana to learn from you in Cairo city if you have time thank you for your lesson
As a native American and the only non-Egyptian in my Coptic Orthodox Church (and deacon), I'm struggling to at least pick up a few sentences in Arabic that are understandable to others. I'm not very bright, so Koloud's videos are very helpful. Plus she has gorgeous eyes.

Hi, Kholoud! I've been watching to many of your videos as a complement for my arabic classes in Brazil and they helping me a lot! Good job and keep going! I have a question: أحمل قوة أجدادي means like "I carry the strength of my ancestors", right?
@@kholoudabdelaal-masteringe1979 thank you, I am very beginner, it is all hard ( listening, writing, reading) but I will learn with an amazing teacher like you :) I am from Brazil, thank you
Yes, I agree the examples are excellent. I have M.Woidich's brilliant book Kullu Tamam with its great sections on Egyptian Arabic grammar and delicate phonetic rules of elisions, long vowel shortening. If you want to understand all the things (active participles, imperfect, future, bi-imperfect and past tenses) Kholoud presented here in her fantastic video, you should master the first 10 lessons from Kullu Tamam, really a hefty volume of learning material. So, yes, you are totally right, it's brutally hard. Moroccan Arabic is even more brutal, so be happy with Egyptian Arabic.
شكرا أنك بتساعدني اتعلم عربي. أنا بتعلم من الڤيديوهات بتاعتك. You're super cute! I truly want to learn egyptian dialect, so you have a new subscriber her :) شكرا!!!
Thank you for yhe video. What are the rules which govern various pronunciation of the letter "qaf"? In some instanes it is silent, in other words it is pronounced "g" ?
05:10 Is it just me who hears "After this scentence, you can ask ..x.. which is to undress them" Its a bit fast, I feel like several bases are being skipped here maybe its just arabic culture
Saba7 el 5eir, Kholoud. This is the first video i am watching on your channel and I'm slightly confused which dialect you are using for each sentence. For example, you say "for the Egyptian dialect we say, 'El lahga el masreya' " I thought this was Modern Standard Arabic?
The video is about Egyptian dialect only . Also I think there's nothing as Modern Standard Arabic it's just each Arab country speaking it's own dialect in Arabic
I just started learning recently. How often do Egyptians use “is” in conversation? Is it always required or is it optional? Because there isn’t a word for “is” in MSA is there? Thank you for your videos & help!
Im really new to learning arabic, what do the number/symbols mean in the sentences?? I assume they are to convey a letter or sound we don't have in english but i dont understand
