Lindy Hop Class Recap: Key follow skills!

Mia first starts by demonstrating hallmark following skills of direction, momemtum, and follow through with a right side pass. Then Mia gives a great follower body movement / footwork variation for an open tuck turn. (12: rock step uh(3): R step 3: L kick uh(4): L ball 4: R step (and pivot/turn) 5&6: LRL triple step). Also pay attention to the follow through on the turning momentum with her left free arm at then end of the turn!
Next was a side pass with a turn where Mia travels while turning with simple footwork, but steps and turns with tons of confidence (123456: all steps). She then demonstrates the same movement with a triple triple footwork which ends up making the first triple almost feel like a lock turn prep.
Last thing was a 6 count basic (moving counterclockwise) with a little push/gather finish: rhythm 1 2 3&4 &5 (rock step triple step hop push).
