The Outlander has a serious issue with the hood when rolling at higher speeds. It is referred to as "Hood Flutter". The hood vibrates like crazy and almost feels like it will pop off. For a 50K car, that isn't very good. Doesn't seem like Mitsubishi is taking this matter too seriously. Any nes on your side about this. I was hoping to buy one but since this issue is a well known matter for many people, I've held back and started looking elsewhere.
I’ve also read from numerous people in the US of their Outlander blowing hot air and over heating. Due to the shortages of parts their vehicle has been at the dealership for weeks if not months. I was also looking to buy an Outlander but now I’ve been looking elsewhere.
The hood flutter was an issue on early production months. I know exactly what you mean.. It looked very odd and concerning! However, only few moths production was affected! They are all good now and there is a recall on hood replacements! So if your Outlander is affected by this, just contact your local dealership and they will handle this for you!
@@mr.mitsubishi thanks for the update, but I'm still seeing quite a lot of very recent comments about this issue so I'm not too sure Mitsubishi contacted their clients to make them aware of a recall (if any). Can you please share the details on this post so more people will see this real notice. Thx
Waiting for my base model outlander for 3 mths now , and we just got a call from our dealer and he said they stopped producing base models and tried to get us to upgrade our model ... we said no and canceled our deal .. guess we are now going with Honda or Toyota...
@@mr.mitsubishi any truth to this? Mitsubishi not producing base models? I contacted other dealers and they said they are still producing base models ... not sure if the dealer I dealt with are playing games trying to sell us higher models
No matter how good vehicle is, if they don’t deliver vehicle on time we are not here to watch videos. We need to drive the vehicle. I booked my outlander in Feb and still they don’t have confirmed delivery schedule.
@@mr.mitsubishi just wondering is there a system where customers/ dealers can track the progress of vehicle, now a days even if we buy $5 items online we can track through our phones. This is $50k vehicle and howcome there is no tracking system to get a vehicle confirmation.
Hi sir I would like to know if we could communicate through email. I have a question that I want to ask you about the reflector cover for the hood thanks
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR THANKS SIR
Glad you like it :)
