    Now you all know why Still of the Night from Whitesnake was so epic. Love the Middle-eastern vibe of the riff and solo. Epic, indeed!

      umm hello these are all well recognized artists from that era. they were all in big bands. this is what we call a super Group. as a band they didnt get real big. but they really didnt stay together long enough to. they only put out two albums and the line up changed a lot.

      Patrick Langan Oooooh yes ... Have heard a lot of heavy stuff ... I'm not talking about metal or progressive ... I'm talking about HEAVY stuff ... This is about as heavy as it gets! ;O)

    • @patrickmichaellangan576
      @patrickmichaellangan576 9 лет назад +4

      Yeah. I know what you're talking about. In fact Whitesnake (John Sykes formed Blue Murder after being ousted from Whitesnake) doesn't call themselves a metal band, but a hard rock/rhythm and blues band.

  • @stefanholbek2449

    Pursued this type of music for quite a while ... juz doesn't get more heavy than that! (Yup: Listened to Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Van Halen ... later on got into Extreme, Dream Theater ... (and of course Vai, Satriani, Howe, Macalpine ... etc. ...) but when it comes to "heavy-ness" there was nothing like it!
    I had the honor of a support-job for "Thin Lizzy" (without Mr. Lynott) back in '98 ... where I actually talked to Mr. Sykes ... He's my superduper favorite rock'n'roll guitar-hero of all times! ;O)

      Get a great stereo and watch the bass speakers thump . Used to be my thing back in the eighties and nineties . Nothing compares to being young and watching 300 watts kick your Pioneer sound systems ass into a roiling thumping bass booming monster . It doesn’t make ones neighbors happy ,but what kid cares about their neighbors when young and music is life ,especially in the 80’s early 90’s . Everyone needed to hear your sound system !
