Thank you for posting this. Roger was a good friend of my late father and I enjoyed a weeks hawking with Mark and Roger in August 1994. A wonderfully warm man.
A wonderful tribute to a falconer who practised the sport of grouse hawking at the highest level for decades. His knowledge and experiences have been passed on through his son Mark, also a falconer and great artist. And through the many books and articles he wrote in his lifetime.
That was priceless!
This is what I have imagined how real English gentleman would look and sound. May he rest in peace!
