I was watching Kyra and thinking not only does she have a beautiful voice, but she is so humble and seemed genuinely surprised that people cheered for her and coaches turned their chairs for her. So happy for her.
As someone who is also in a wheelchair, playing music is a struggle, but I wouldn't give it up for anything. I am so proud of you, young lady. Always remember you are more than enough. You got this 👍
@@kevmodee1866because depending on the instrument, if breath is involved being seated can restrict the diaphragm, full breaths can be difficult. Pianos are hard to reach. Holding an instrument can be difficult with a wheelchair as well if you play a cello foot plates get in the way.
65 yr old gran here sobbing. My dad was a music agent and music has been in my life for so long. This young lady is incredible. Lovely voice, inspirational and the animals she works with will be blessed. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 🐾❤️
She had me in tears of admiration!! I also have rare condition that affects my whole body and a lot of people just don’t understand. She and her voice are beautiful, her smile is contagious and her strength is powerful!! ❤
Oh, that was beautiful! Kyra is beautifully presented and her delivery maintained strength, she handles enquiry with maturity and she made her version a little different but not complicated. I loved it. And she has shown adaptability with breathing techniques.
Kyra is such an inspirational person; even though she has a chronic illness that leads to her using a wheelchair, she still manages to find some positivity and keep doing what she loves which for her is singing.

I can relate as I once had a very active and busy lifestyle but have now been bedbound for 8 years due to multiple chronic illnesses. So hard to explain to people when you look okay but feel extremely unwell on the inside. Keep smashing it and keep being you! 🙏💕✨
I literally cried when I saw the beginning of this video. Kyra has simply an absolute phenomenal voice! It's heartbreaking to see al the struggles with the illness that she has, and is dealing with! She is amazing, strong, beautiful, and a force to be reckoned with, absolutely awesome!
Not sure why that wasn't a 4 chair turn. Her voice is incredible. She is amazingly beautiful and could really become a massive inspiration and influence for those in a wheelchair. I didn't know that song but you could really appreciate her vocal talents.
Coaches are making their decision based entirely on the quality of the singing performance. Considering how many bad notes she hit, she was lucky that anyone turned, even if those bad notes were just the result of nerves.
I'm proud of her, I understand how she feels as I have a rare genetic syndrome that affects my whole body. She's a Warrior and I am proud of those people who love her and stand by her.
I too deal with a neurological condition that saps my ability to walk. I’m 70. This performance of this song warmed me and comforted me that where. I am is where I need to be and I’m fine.
Me too, unfortunately my condition, fibromyalgia is treated like a joke. I get no support medical or otherwise. I was diagnosed 5 years ago and then left to get on with it. 5 years later I am practically housebound and working from home.
Such a beautiful performance and you smashed it Kyra all the years your voice has been hidden away fo a chosen few. Step into the light and the world will embrace you. I loved that in that short time you showed your fun personality and inner beauty too. Loved it.
Another thing I noticed is her love for animals, and her cat. I have 3 cats that I love, cherish, and adore. I have a very tight bond with all 3 of them! They saved my sanity back in Dec. 2020, when I lost my wife of 25 years to cancer. They somehow sensed something was wrong and became even sweeter to me that they already were!
I have had a illness all my life and i have never ever let it get me down and i do not let my illness get the better of me and i just battle on so please do not not let your illness get to you and just keep singing as you are beutful
I have pots as well and it bedbounded me to the point I wasn’t able to stand up either. Fortunately I responded to medication but some people don’t. Best of luck, hope you win!
