- In this video I add some more mods to my Surron light bee x making a few steps closer to being the dream surron build for me.
I upgrade the brake levers, brake fluid tank caps, the bash guard and the tyres!
These were some small but effective upgrades making the bike look so much better in my opinion.
Still a long way to go but hopefully you enjoy this part of the build, MORE TO COME!!

Another good upgrade you should do is to get a renthal chain, they increase top speed and range, but need more maintenance.
I currently have a D.I.D chain instead of the stock O ring chain. Definitely made a difference but going to upgrade to a renthal one in the near future as well! Appreciate the feedback man👌🏻🔋⚡️💯
Mine finally arrived today wow that thing is so Torquay took it out for a 7mile test run it's so much fun a bit bigger than I first thought can't bring my self to use sport mode yet though think I need to get used to it a bit more and find some more places to ride it
It’s incredible isn’t it! You’ll get used to it pretty quickly man, its a bit sharper on the throttle at the low end but top end it smooths out and isn’t so touchy! Ride safe man🔋⚡️
replace the back spring to orange as well bro this will look amazing

Definitely worth taking off man. I was holding back with it but I definitely prefer it with out the stickers. Still going to find a different sticker kit to get though. Its a tough decision though aint it.
Looks awesome I think I'll do something similar with mine personally I think it would have looked better with the decals on that come with the 2023 model
Yeah man definitely worth trying something different. I was so impressed with how it looked after these small changes.
Personally i think there’s only so much that the stock decals can do. They look good for a while but i just got too used to how the bike looked. Wouldn’t want them again I would definitely try some other sticker kits though!

I’m pretty sure this is the one i got mate! Looks good and is so bright. I also suggest getting a switch as it’s pretty blinding when riding towards people!

Bro please tell me you put the rubber inserts under the brake caps, they have a rubber bit under the stock ones hard to see because black but trust me your breaks will leave from the cap without it
Haha yeah man i swapped the rubber inserts over! I didn’t for a start then realised after that they were on the old caps so quickly put them on! Could of been bad times if I didn’t. I keep all my old parts anyway so would of had them still. Appreciate the heads up tho man. I bet so many people forget to change them over🤦🏻♂️🔋⚡️

I definitely see your point the stock brakes are pretty dead but they’ll do for now. These were just little things i wanted to do temporarily until i’m ready for a proper brake upgrade. Got other parts i want to invest in first. But the brakes will definitely be getting changed and i’ll most likely go with the hope tech v4’s!
I went from stock brakes to hope v4. It's amazing.. No more dead feeling and the on/off braking you get with stock. But i've went a bit further with the upgrades. 😅 Better swingarm, 72v battery, x9000 ebmx controller, 21/18 wheelset from smpro. Improved my rear shock with a stiffer spring and i'm waiting for an ext ferro. It becomes a moneypit but worth every penny. These things are real fun on singletracks in the forrest!
