I always found it funny that the characters could be having the most serious conversation, but they'll be in something like a scooter or a golf cart lol
The wierdest thing happened when I played GTA 5 yesterday. Franklin and Lamar was hanging out and Lamar started talking about how Franklin killed Michael, even though I have all the protagonists alive.
The sad thing is about capping Michael, I think Franklin would have eventually capped Lamar because he was starting to become traitorous and was shrugging off the death of one of his homies. Knowing him, he would have probably went after Trevor as well. He became an ultimate snake and a Busta. After killing Trevor, Lamar probably was disgusted and probably started growing apart from Franklin since he had liked Trevor. He still became a Busta and the true protege of Michael.
Now when thinking about things like these, F becomes my least fav character. He had really changed for the bad. Just like Michael tried to get Trevor killed, F would probably do the same for Lamar.
If Franklin kills Trevor I don’t think he’s as bad as Michael. He shows genuine remorse and tells Trevor the truth in his face. He doesn’t lie like Michael did to Trevor and others. However, the major contrast is when he betrays Michael. In that scenario, he’s not like Michael either, but far worse. He lies about what he did, becomes a greedy traitor, and shows his possible extremely cold nature.
This is why I couldn't bring myself to have Franklin kill Trevor or Micheal. It's just.... Franklin starts justifying it. Trevor... okay, dude was legit crazy and a literal menace to society - dude straight up killed the manager of the Vanilla Unicorn for no other reason than to take it for himself. Micheal... it's just sad. It was because of Micheal that Franklin even had his shot out of the hood. Through his connections. Now, a home up in the hills, a pool, business opportunities. And then... poof. "I had to do it." I couldn't do that to these characters. I just couldn't. And Lamar was right - in that situation, Franklin shows that he's easily manipulated. Option C is the only way to go to save not only Trevor or Micheal, but to save Franklin too.
Option C was amazing. Because it was a pivotal moment for Franklin. For the first time, he took control of his life. He wasn't seeking guidance or following orders. He made his own call and plan to see it through.
YESSSS!!!!!! i predicted it in my head, i thought this was gonna be the next one but just normal conversations, i love your series, keeps me entertained! thank you and continue making awesome content!
When you kill Michael or Trevor, Franklin and Lamar turn into Michael and Trevor: The cold opportunist willing to do anything to get big and leave the crime life behind and the scrupleless psychopath with abandonment issues who can see no other way for themself but the crime life. The bickering is way too similar. The cycle continues.
Also, you can see in the last convo how inspired Lamar is by Trevor and his "TP" business names, since he later calls his own business "LD Organics" in The Contract.
I have always felt like the ending where Franklin saves everybody was the ultimate character ark of 5 he finally did his own thing instead of what somebody told him to Because when you think about it Michael didn’t change his ways his family just learn to accept it and Trevor is still bat shit insane he just got over his anger towards Michael

I mean, he literally calls Lamar after killing Michael because he knows, he doesn't have Michael anymore, and he won't have Trevor when he finds out what happened.
