yeah i'm the second one, when i was smaller i loved playing the game because of the internet at the time and i loved shooting, then i started playing it again and i realized that it's psychological too.

Trevor has a heart but its deeply wounded. He cares for his friends and most definitely cares for michaels kids. He is a low-functioning sociopath, most people do not matter to him but he can form connections with a select few people
Franklin isn't a bad person at all, he just had a rough childhood. In fact, even if at the beginning he wasn't the best homie, he learned to be a good friend, IMO this is why the C ending is the canon one. He dropped out of the gang from the first moment he saw the opportunity to steal money from assholes. And genuinely looks for a mentor-apprentice relationship with Michael.
Michael is so annoyingly negative. All his conversations are the exact same thing but worded differently. The nice thing about this fact is that they expand on this aspect of his character with Trevor and Franklin eventually being annoyed with him because of this. Both Trevor and Franklin tell Michael that he is the embodiment of Los Santos; that all the negatives the city are him personified but his overinflated ego makes him unable to see it this.
I enjoy all these characters but I'll admit, it gets tiring to listen to Michael whine all the time in these hangouts conversations, to the point this video was a bit of a chore to sit through. I wish the conversations ranged more like the GTA IV hangout conversations from happy to passionate to cynical and hopeful.
I'd say he's the embodiment of a pessimist... he's not negative to be negative. But his outlook on life isn't positive to begin with. He probably hates living.
He's definitely depressed, but I actually really like the final dialogue. He's finally stepped out of denial and realised that his decisions led him to where he was. He's not trying to bring Franklin down. He's just trying to explain that what goes around comes around, that if you don't take inventory of what you've done and choose to repress it with the luxuries its afforded you, your "happy" ending can be your worst even if it seems happy from an outside perspective.
I love how the conversation after The Third Way takes place in a hearse. It originally made me think "Oh god they got Trevor in the car with them too!"
