So that's two-for-two for "Meursault Corrodes _significantly_ harder than Don with their shared E.G.Os", the other being him going _full_ Sheep Mode™ in his Electric Screaming Corrosion. This one is more similar to Ishmael's Wingbeat Corrosion, both being "quadrupedal/gorilla-posture abomination with their human head still (mostly) intact with a focus on hunger". Combine that with how much he Corrodes with Electric Screaming, and I can only theorize what it could mean...
@@Quantum1244 From what I can tell, Corrosion is when someone sort of "falls into" the Abnormality, consumed by the ideas/feelings that the Abnormality resonates with most and being "overwritten" by it. As described in the Uptie story for _Lobotomy E.G.O: Red Sheet_ Sinclair: "Rather than putting on E.G.O and using it as a tool... It was as though he became one with the E.G.O...or the Abnormality itself, putting the things in its mind to action as if possessed. That's right. Most E.G.O will try to encroach on its user and corrode them. It's said that uttering someone else's words as if they're your own and copying whatever they do eventually makes you no different from that person, right? Then it may only be natural that using someone else's mind like a tool gradually assimilates yours into it. Forgetting your self...as if it has taken it." Meursault seems to have a low amount of "Hardcore" Corrosions compared to other Sinners, including others that he shares the same E.G.O with (i.e. Capote, Pursuance), and it is hard to tell if he is Corroding particularly hard with _Regret_ and _Screwloose Wallop_ due to those two currently being exclusive to him. There are times with other Sinners, even those that Corrode into E.G.Os derived from particularly "humanoid" Abnormalities, where they Corrode into a form that is _more_ monstrous/grotesque than the original Abnormality (Pursuance Rodion, Lasso Hong Lu, all three versions of Dimension Shredder), which makes it even more odd to me that Meursault has a very low amount of particularly "monstrous" Corrosions, if Corrosion is supposed to be the Abnormality's will overwriting the user's and Meursault is the "conformity guy". *Screwloose Wallop:* This E.G.O is _really_ weird in general, and is still exclusive to Meursault, giving me no other Corrosion examples to compare with. *Regret:* The Lobotomy E.G.O IDs cannot Corrode into their Lobotomy E.G.Os, leaving Regret as a proper super-move E.G.O exclusive to Meursault, giving no comparison material. The Forsaken Murderer is also particularly human-like, making it hard to tell if Meursault Corrodes particularly intensely into it. *Capote:* He Corrodes to the same extent as Ishamel does. *Pursuance:* His Corrosion is less monstrous than Rodion's. *Electric Screaming:* The first E.G.O that he shares with Don Quixote, and now member of team "Meursault Corrodes _significantly_ harder than Don". Compared to... whatever the hell Don's Corrosion has going on, Meursault goes _full_ Dreaming Electric Sheep, with only his hairstyle still intact. *Yearning Mircalla:* Another E.G.O he shares with Don, and second member of team "Meursault Corrodes _significantly_ harder than Don". While Don's Corrosion still maintains a humanoid body shape in some form, Meursault basically turns into a plant version of Ishmael's _Wingbeat_ Corrosion.
"From what I can tell, Corrosion is when someone sort of "falls into" the Abnormality, consumed by the ideas/feelings that the Abnormality resonates with most and being "overwritten" by it." Yeah. Using an E.G.O that came from an Abnormality and is not your own essentially means diluting your sense of "self" and overriding a part of it with someone else's wants and desires. It essentially becomes a tug-of-war of sorts, where the two "selves" withing you endlessly struggle for control: Awakening is your original personality successfully maintaining the upper hand and mostly retaining your own identity, while Corrosion is what happens when you *lose* that battle and let the Abnormality's side take over. This is also why your own E.G.O cannot be Corroded: there is no second "self" to contend with - it's all just yourself (it can still, however, lead to some other things like Distortion, but that is another topic entirely). Getting back to Mersault, it is important to note that his own sense of self is inherently very weak, the weakest among all thirteen Sinners (including even the amnesiac Dante), or even just regular people living in the City, by a landslide. He does not have any strong beliefs, or aspirations, or desires - all of the things that makes us who we are and differentiates "us" from everyone else. Basically, he is already half-empty, so it makes perfect sense that when Mersault Corrodes and is taken over by an Abnormality, the other "self" can manifest itself that much more strongly, because there is a lot more space to fill and overwrite and the "original" personality does not put much of a fight. Likewise, is also makes sense that Don - the Sinner with probably the strongest sense of identity - is able to maintain a greater degree of control and retain much more of her "true self" even when Corroded. These two are intentionally juxtaposed against each other.

Both Electric Screaming and Yearning Mircalla has a theme of longing. Electric Screaming's abnormality takes inspiration from Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and the phrase asks if androids, like humans, dream as well. From what we can tell from Meursault's base ego, he likely has a history of being ostracised despite is attempts to conform; because what sets him apart from others is his peculiarity, try as he might to please the masses with them in tow. Yearning Mircalla is pretty obvious with it being longing due to its Lust affinity (since PM uses Lust as a symbol for longing for physical/human connection) from what I can speculate, Meursault resonates with the abnormality's small, frail origins and its eventual desire for blood/consumption could probably symbolise his more selfish want of being wanted by another person's own volition
I could understand that line of logic with single coin corrosion, but I think it's important to remember that these skills can are spammed if the sinner in question corrodes. If we were to invert yearning mircalla, it would be a celling of 22 with 4 coins. While that might not be that bad on its own, using it six times in a single turn is probably a bit too strong (assumingthat you are soloing).
About the "Rose Wedge" effect, i am confused since its written down "Combat end: at 10 potency or 1 count, this effect expires and take (potency x 10) lust dmg." what the fuck is combat end, like is it Turn end? But its also written "Turn end: lost 1 count" so i doubt it is something else?

"Combat end" is before all battle skills have been resolved (the big melee) but before the turn ends (which includes resolving status effects).
