- We take a nice relaxing ride after the rain stopped on the Augusta Canal Trail. We discuss an issue I had with a bug, facebook issues, and was even quiet about 18 minutes so people could listen to the bike tires on the road and environmental sounds like a ASMR session which starts around 42:50. Also, we try out a noseless saddle (seat) which is supposed to be more friendly to the prostrate.

Thanks for the great Cockroach story!! I remember my very young son chewing on a cockroach when we lived in Texas many years ago. He survived and is now 52 years old.
LoL... kids! Glad he survived the ordeal.
Palmetto Bugs! I live in Florida so we’re very familiar with them down here. Having a maintenance contract with a pest control company is pretty much a necessity. There was a time we didn’t have an exterminator and I learned the hard way why we needed one.
Used to sleep without a shirt on, woke in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. It was pitch black and cold so I throw on my bathrobe. And guess what was hiding in my bathrobe? Yep.. it ran right up my back. Talk about getting freaked out. It’s one of those things you never forget.
I curious to see what you think of your new bike seat once you get accustomed to it. I’ve had/have prostate problems and have concerns about the effects of a lot of seat time with a standard style saddle.
That was a great ride. The land bridge between the two bodies of water was cool.
Maybe they’re some people that don’t like to hear you talk all the way through the video but I enjoy it myself.
Awesome comment. Your experience with Palmetto Bugs and the bathrobe would have freaked me out! I'll try to remember to give an update on my bike seat sometimes in the future. I'm glad I have at least one person that can handle my stories. I tried an experiment this time by being quiet for 18 minutes and just enjoy the ride. Hopefully, some of those that wish I would shut up found it peaceful.
I have a no-nose seat (a saddle is for horses). Makes it easier to get on & off without the nose poking. You are living dangerously for this ride -- no stuff with you, oh my!
Yes, yours is a bit like mine. I believe I saw it on your haircut ride video. Leaving my stuff behind turned out not to be an issue, but I was worried about what would I do if I got a flat 10 miles from my car or if my seat post collapse and I would have to ride back without a seat.
Palmetto bugs!!! Flying monster beast. If you kill one, 25 will come to the funeral. I lived along the Fla - Ga line next to a salt marsh with Palmetto bushes and pine trees. Lots of those things around.
"..25 will come to the funeral." lol oh man.. I hope that funeral is at the end of the sewer system and nowhere near my house.
I don't have extra batterie. I watched a review on that seat.
Without an extra battery I would always be worried about being stranded. If I only had mostly flat areas, I wouldn't care as much but there is nothing but hills everywhere around me and i can't pedal up any grade hill. I was surprised how much different a noseless seat would feel, but I'm beginning to get use to it now.
Haven't seen you in awhile, are you ok?
Yes, I'm mostly OK. I have been seeing a bunch of doctors lately to see if they also think I'm OK. Results are pending on that. However, I am actually creating a video at this moment that I'm hoping to get up tomorrow morning. I'm about 80% finished with editing it, so I'm thinking I can do it.
