Richard, Thanks for the videos! I've had my ebike for a couple of months and love being able to ride a bike again! I just hit 64 years old and just can't ride a regular bike anymore, due to a bad back, and knees. I can now enjoy my rides and even though I almost always pedal, it's nice to know that I have the assistance of the throttle if I need it.

I love stories like this as it is close to my own story. Being able to ride a bike again is awesome. You only realize how much you needed to be outdoors and riding a bike, once you are outside riding the bike.

Watching your video with the helmet cam looked just fine. Not dizzy to me.

Glad you are doing some riding. According to what I've read, exercising does help with managing type 2.

I don't ride much, last ride I did was 18 miles, I could have never done that when I had my regular road bike, now with the E bike, I did the 18 and felt I could have done more. BTW, I always pedal. Seldom use the throttle. Richard, motorized scooters ride a lot faster than e bikes and give you no exercise at all.

yep being able to ride for a distance is one of the advantage of ebike over traditional bike.

Why not turn off motor when going down a slight decline, save power for later when you need it to return.

I should have mentioned this in the video but I road all the way to Georgia and my battery was at 98% still. I really wasn't using much of the battery as it was. I got back to my car, over 15 miles, and was still only at 92%. I'll try -0- assist next time and see if that causes more or less issues. The power cutting in and out was slightly irritating.
