    We just need the airport drama back...

    • @ThePercyJacksonDude
      @ThePercyJacksonDude Месяц назад +2

      They had that on season 35, but since this season was filmed before 35, the airport stuff was gone this time but will be back next season.

      Same! With the new one allegedly filming, hoping we can get teams scrambling for tickets. The train ticket strategy Rob & Corey and Todd & Ashlie dealt with and didn't pay off had me gagged. Needs more of this and less "international obstacle course".

    I think the biggest issue is 90 minute episodes. There’s not enough content and the challenges are too repetitive to watch with 90 minutes

    • @n.b1434
      @n.b1434 Месяц назад +2

      There is plenty of content. Think of past seasons. And hour was never enough time. Then they make it 90 minutes but all the editing seems wrong so it makes it weird and not edge of your seat, dramatic or fun. They need to do it exacly like they did for the hour long show but just add in extra time. Not sure how or why it is so difficult for them to make it feel the same.

    • @jackwolff5428
      @jackwolff5428 Месяц назад +1

      @@n.b1434the hour didn’t feel like long enough until we saw that 90 minutes is too much, they don’t know how to build characters up any more with an extra 20 mins of content they just add challenge clips

    • @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep
      @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep 2 дня назад

      This is exactly the issue I have with the newer seasons (for the exception of TAR25 and the Rob & Corey and Steve & Anna Leigh season). They are unable to build a storyline for all the teams. Like, when I watch older seasons up to 18, you can tell each team had their own arc and personalities come through the screen no matter if you felt a certain way about them. It wasn't just all about completing tasks and asking how they felt about a task. It was about the realtime dynamics they had while traveling. The only teams this season I felt that had some semblance of an arc or heartbeat of personality were the golden retriever twins, Karishma Does Not Count & Kishori, and Leticia at times.

  • @JohnnyHikesSW
    @JohnnyHikesSW Месяц назад +3

    They should allow players to film themselves if production loses them, like yes the footage will be crap but they can explain what they were doing in confessionals

    I liked the cast but the legs kinda sucked for the most part I think the fact they didn't know it was gonna be longer episodes so the legs felt short I really enjoyed most of the cast but some of these legs did feel drawn out Rod and Leticia were my favorites on the season Ricky and Caesar were great dominant winners

    unpopular opinion, but tbhhhh, i LOVE having drama on survivor and big brother and…i kind of like watching TAR as a more casual thing. sorta like a breather for reality tv. like i don’t really NEED too much drama in the show

    • @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep
      @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep 2 дня назад +1

      I feel like that's more popular imo from all the things I've read online. I'm the opposite. I live for the drama in TAR. Traveling is hectic. I want to see errors, tears, stumbling, and rivalry. I don't want to watch a vacation. I'd just watch travel vlogs on here if that were the case. I don't really care much for drama on Survivor tbh. I'm all for funny characters and strategy for that one like Carolyn Wiger and Charlie the Swiftie.

    We’re get to Survivor 46 Season Review next week. Survivor 46 was also originally shot a 60 Minutes Episode but because a 90 Minutes Episode was Succeed, they are force to add a couple of scene for the multiple Episode of Survivor 46 since there is No Swap (Saving Kenzie will be the better way to make up a story standpoint after an Emily Loss last Season), No Survivor Auction (Didn’t have time to do since they were originally gonna have 60 minutes episode this season but it didn’t) & Some Twist (Didn’t make the cut for Survivor 45 have) that have this season.

    I don’t know I kinda really enjoyed the cast and I had a good time. Ricky and Cesar put on a masterclass on how to race with several other teams bringing a lot of fun. I think this season showed how to do TAR alliances right

  • @Gahahgaga1
    @Gahahgaga1 5 дней назад +1

    You definetly said my biggest issue with this season. It felt like every leg happened in the same place which gave Caesar and his partner (I already forgot the name :( an advantage. If they went to Japan or China or anywhere else they'd prob still be top 3 but I doubt they'd be winning as strongly

    • @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep
      @francesca-selfproclaimed-bleep 2 дня назад

      I felt like every leg gave the leading teams an advantage because of the grouped departures and the teams that ended up in the bottom trailing had to put up an impossible fight. Rod & Leticia and Ricky & Cesar finished Leg 2 before Karishma & Kishori and Amber & Vinny even began it. The structure for this season was atrocious from the get-go. A 15-minute lead on a season that doesn't really have equalizers is a giant gap.

    Boring season in the end, hopefully with covid dying down, 37 can be just as great as 35

  • @coolnerdlll6053
    @coolnerdlll6053 Месяц назад +4

    *For the most part* this was another completely average season. A lot of tasks were half-assed, the route was boring and the winners were painfully predictable for at least the fifth season in a row, but the cast was good enough, there were some surprises and I always love the mood of the show. Much like 33 and 34, it wasn't a keeper, but I didn't hate it.
    With that said, I came within an inch of rage-quitting after the mega-leg episode. I and hopefully a lot of other people are done with cheating alliances on this show. It's not fair, it's cruel, it's terrible strategy and I really hope the show brings the hammer down this time. This is not The Amazing Race that I've been watching live since I was seven. I want it back.
