@@mongrelmercury1016 on these drives I like to let the truck do the talking for the most part, I only add music when it’s necessary like when there’s just photos.
Sounds of an old rig on the black top & the occasional commentary is cool but I must confess Eureka to Ely I found Wicked Twisted Road by Reckless Kelly, & Ties in Every Town by TLKF very good sounds , Long White Line bySturgill Simpsons is working well this episode, enjoying the show thank you 😎👍
@@josephkryszczak honestly, not bad for the age/condition of the motor. The truck would use more if I went 60, but 55 and below it was a quart or less every 500 miles or so.
That was some beautiful country y'all passed through Eric and that old binder rolled along like a Singer sewing machine.
looks like my 1957 s-120 International 1/2 ton 4 wd truck; still in the front yard . Great to see one'' on the road again''
I am loving these road trips, slow speeds gearbox wine, most importantly no music and not sped up excellent job

To people who have never been out there, the scenes look surreal....The formations as you near Moab are majestic....
Thanks for sharing , been about five years since I was that way .
Last year I drove my 49 kb5 400 miles. It was a blast. Maybe we'll meet on the road someday!
Scipio is a pretty interesting place. I would like to live there for sure. Regards from Ody Slim

I live in Georgia. I can't imagine country like that. No trees no nothing and it goes on for miles...
There's something about the whine of them old gear boxes.
Happy truck not sitting and rusting away in a field somewhere
@@b0bsanders626 you got that right.
How was the oil consumption on a big road trip like that?

US 50....the loneliest road in the world....
@@mrpeegeepee2682 yes sir, one of our favorites.
Your truck parked in front of that old garage with the gas pumps looked like one of those cool old paintings.
