I was planning to get it, but then I reconsidered because it looked cheap. Also, as you mentioned, it doesn't seem to look great on display with other transformers. How does the plastic feel compared to the legacy series?

The plastic actually feels pretty good. It doesn't feel cheap, but some of the joints could use a little tightening.
