Here's a tip. Always wear your mx boot on the kickstarter side when you're starting a 500. Especially when the bike is cold . I started my '04 KX500 wearing my hiking boots like yours and the lever snapped back and tore a hole into my calf muscle, a 6 inch deep groove through the flesh. 24 stitches and a couple of weeks off work. I was cringing watching this. I like your bike, had a lot of time on the green 500's but not so much seat time on the CR500. They get along Ok for sure, ride 'em with respect and they look after you all day long.
I am glad you think the camera quality is good. I have struggled with youtube compressing my videos so they don't always look great even though I use high quality cameras.

My woulda/coulda/shoulda bike😔 Back in 01 used to go to Naults Honda Windham for Bell Ray mc1+ for my 99yz250 and would always walk past the vast array of cr's for sale in the showroom. Would always walk to the back to the 500 and my buds would cringe. Probably scared. I remember it was $5999.95 out the door. Probably peanuts a month if financed. Wish i did it. I have 2 kx500s now i'll never sell,the CR wouldve been sick to have as well👍👍
I remember being little and going to the dealerships and seeing the "big bikes" I only wish I had an appreciation for what I was looking at back then! Thanks for watching!
I thought keeping fuel in the tank all the time was what faded the white tanks? I have 2 yz250's with white but faded yellow-ish gas tanks on them. I do know the sun rays do a number on the plastic as well. Sick bike man,i absolutely love it✌

CR500 is in a league of its own! Beast of a bike to start and that 2 stroke smoke must smell so nice as its warming up on choke...
