Two new robot chassis kits let you level up your robotics game with small, desktop-sized bots! We’re also releasing a revision of the Ludus Wireless shield, which we’re calling the “Wireless Motor Driver Shield.” The shield has an onboard motor driver and breakout pins for servos, analog sensors, and an I2C port. We also added a separate power jack for powering your motors separately from the Arduino.

Any chance you will open source the chassis? It would be nice if ppl could 3D print the plates and wheels.

I don't think it's a Sparkfun design. You can find very similar, possibly identical, chassis on other sites.

I am fully aware, since I built one the the first Sumo bots back in the early 90's using a pic and then a basic stamp.
I like the location of the holes and the general size and look.

Who cares about the shield; where do you buy the tt gear motors with the dual shaft 130 motor? I would love to try out a gear motor with an encoder that has reasonable resolution.
