The 3d curve engraving is very innovative and very user-friendly for new users.
Xtool is really stepping it up in creativity.
Pixel Algorithm for HD photos will be interesting to see. < as someone who loves HD fan art I'm excited to see your opinion.

There are so many cool features coming with the F1 Ultra and as a fan of image engraving, I can't wait to look at this.
I know many people will struggle with the price (especially after the pre-order discount ends), but this is primarily a fiber laser, so you can't really compare it to diode laser pricing, which typically tops out at $1500.
The F1 Ultra is a very different product, and if I could pick a demographic for this, the F1 Ultra would be for someone who owns a small engraving business generating $40K+ in revenue. For the average person, just buying a laser for hobby use, this is probably not the one to buy.
Pricing aside, I do like where xTool is going. There are very few laser companies doing any sort of research, and xTool is leading the way in this area. For the past two years, everyone else has been scrambling trying to keep up, and we will no doubt start seeing some consolidation in the industry over the next year or so.
Neat. So this is why last night a laser group told me NOT to get the F1, they are coming out with a new one. Can't wait!
It quite bit more money than an F1 and really targeted at a different market. It if you have the budget, go for it. My review will be one of the first, so stay tuned.
@@SteveMakesEverything I will, just saw YT unsubbed me again (I rarely comment) but aside from that, this has more features it seems and more capable of what I want to be able to do. I was planning on the F1 and another Fiber, so getting this combined for both features is actually not as costly as one may expect. Sure, upfront it is, but I would have to anyways.

@@RoseKindred Definitely if you were looking at an F1 and a fiber laser, you might want to wait. Keep in mind, though, that the F1 Ultra will be a 20W fiber, so no matter what magic xTool has managed to pull off, it can't possibly engrave as deep as a 60W laser.
These are the features that have held me back from getting an F1. For my small business, this is going to be perfect. Definitely interested in this.

It does seem a little high for a 20w fiber. If you can predictably color on stainless, that could change things. I watched their promo video of behind the scenes this morning, and they mentioned you cannot change the lens..that’s interesting. Perhaps because the conveyor will allow a wider engrave?

The lens is a 220mm which it typical for fiber lasers. The conveyer will allow you to extend the width greatly though.

You and me both! It seems to be xTool’s goal to move up-market, or at least cover the higher end of the range. It’s a pretty smart move actually, since you can start with something like an F1 and as your business grows and you’re ready to buy a new laser, Xtool will have a product to sell you

For a fiber laser it's not a bad price, but I think they are looking at a different market. This isn't a hobby laser.
I've seen a couple of promotional videos like yours but it seems they only use a priority software. Is it compatible with LightBurn?
I don't know if anyone knows this yet. Certainly some key features, like 3d focus and the conveyer won't be supported by Lightburn

Steve - Love your channel and videos. Have been extremely helpful trying to figure out the nuance of these machines. Quick question on the MUSE 3D if I may. Can the MUSE 3D what this gentlemen is doing with his xTool 3D - ruclips.net/video/lBbaqQ4-dRg/видео.html. Still learning this stuff, but looking at my MUSE and not sure if they are Apples to Apples 3D laser machines. Many Thanks.
You're asking about contour focus, which appears to be unique to xTool. I haven't seen any CO2 laser do this.
