As a botanist I loved your work. I learned a lot of this. I tried to make anthers more realistic and I tried to put pollen with the same idea of stamens (particles) but they don't appear at the end :( . Just to be even more accurate, Hibiscus have epicalyx, that looks like a double calyx. Again thank you, I really loved it, and I will use it a lot. Greetings from Bolivia
I looked at the flower from the outside and made it, so it's hard to be scientifically accurate. I just tried to make it look real from the outside. I'm glad and proud that this guide was helpful to you
Great tutorial and love the way you have textured the petals. Just wondering what I might being doing wrong with the array - when I rotate it the petals scale down in size, one smaller than the next. Any help wld be amazing, thank you 🙏
Hello. I have a question, At 9:10, you fixed the origin at the bottom of a Stamen, how did you do that? I can not do that. Which botton should I use? I tried 3 d cursol, median point, and everything, but there is no choise that fixing the origin at the bottom of the stamen. I would be very grateful if you could tell me how to do that. Thank you. Answer to this question:After selecting the object 'stamen), go to Edit mode. Choose the middle point of the bottom of the stamen, Then presee " S + Shift" to select "Cursol to Active." Then go to Object mode again. Select " object" button shown at the upper left on the screen to go to "Set Origin", and select "Origin to 3D cursol" Just for people like me who had a problem.
In Edit mode, if you move all the points of the object, the origin of the object remains unchanged. For the stamen at 9:10 its origin is on the X axis, then I go into Edit mode and move all the stamens up and its origin is still on the X axis. Another way to change the origin of the object: In object mode, go to the Active Tool and Workspace settings tab. In the Options - Transform - Affect Only section, check Origins. Now you move the object, only the origin moves, you move the origin to the desired position and then uncheck Affect Only Origins.
Excuse me, thou the video been in a year. I wanted to ask in 9:48; when I tries to turn on object for create Stamens. It turns the flower thingy outside in (like the head is connect to the main body of the flower instead of how yours work). How can I fix it ?
you go into edit mode of the sample stamen (the Sphere object in the tutorial), select all the points and move it up and down then observe the stamens shown on the flower

also how do you do the circle brush when you change the stance of the pistil
9:42 when I add the hair and everything after that it creates bubbles around the stamen, not on it. How do I fix it?
Hey!! its not hibiscus but I still liked it.
vâng, có thể là hoa này có nhiều giống khác nhau. Tôi rất vui vì bạn vẫn thích nó

@@cookiecap_465 ok thank you so much, that makes sense!
after you rotate the petals then you have to apply rotation (Object - Apply - Rotation). Similarly when you scale, you have to apply scale
@@OctopusEffects thank you so much really appreciate your help 🙏🙌
almost threw up trying to follow your curser---but the flower was great thank you, the music helped me not to get more vertigo.

@@OctopusEffects Lol thanks, I will keep this in mind (since I kinda twist the design a bit)
1:56 i have a question, how i can make the circle bigger? What the shorcut? I hope you can answe me. After all, this is nice video
you scroll the middle mouse to change the circle size
for the pistil does it matter the way they are shaped?
it doesn't really matter because it's quite small compared to the whole flower
How do I open the menu bar at 3:31 and what exactly is clicked there? can't read it unfortunately. Thanks a lot :)
right click on the petal and choose Shade Smooth to smooth the petal
can you do the tutorial on twin tower petronas next? i could not find any tutorial on how to modeled it '( btw I love your tutorial, very easy to follow
Thank you. About the Petronas Twin Towers it is quite complicated and cannot be done in 1 or 2 brief instructions
For some reason my image when adding the imagine during the UV editing did not pop up?? what do I do I did every step and it still wont pop up
You might be in edit mode instead of object mode
why my flower become smaller?
great tutorial, definitely subscribing. can you 3D print these after designing them?
I don't know about 3D printing :(
AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!
Thanks🥰
Blogger, can you send me the original picture of the flower, I also want stickers. Thanks
