One funny thing about that Chicken Range game is that he got the "code in a box" version of the game. What was being shown on PriceCharting is the physical version of the game, which you'd usually find going for at most $20, but you'd more likely buy a new or used copy at $10 or less. The bundle with the gun accessory has gone to $20, and that also has a version of the game as a download code in a case. As someone who actually collects a lot of Nintendo Switch games, I find some of the stuff being highlighted as "flippable" to be laughable because the games are either complete shovelware, or are simply not prices I'd expect most people to pay. Heck, if there's a game you really want that's expensive for an ESRB copy (Limited Run releases, for example), you could get an imported copy of certain games with English support for much cheaper. I do enjoy Switch collecting, but I've noticed a bit of a trend lately of certain individuals jumping in only with reselling profit in mind, and people like Phoenix Resale do rub me the wrong way a lot of the time.

Sometimes I "resell" consoles, I'll buy them untested or not working for a few bucks and fix, clean, and sometimes mod them. After I fix them, I just sell them for what I paid plus the parts and time.
People buying broken stuff, fixing them, and then reselling them I don't think people have an issue with. Most people don't know how to fix these things, so people repairing them are putting more product back onto the market. They also actually did something to justify selling it for more than they paid for the item.
Remember when amazon was a place to get good deals on stuff, dont get me wrong, you still can but man I miss when it was just big companies selling stuff for cheap instead of just resellers selling retro games for way more than what theyre worth and resellers charging full price for stuff they found at the clearance section at walmart.

11 dollar profit? Won't he just lose that on shipping and handling? I don't get it. Last time I sold a console on eBay. The seller paid for the shipping but eBay took the money and I still had to pay shipping. How the f*ck is that supposed to work? I guess he has a deal with Amazon to ship items for free? But that still don't cover packaging. There's obviously something I'm missing.
Hey Steve you remember the video when Phoenix Resale was going to the pawnshop and he lied about grabbing a game off the shelve. But the man told him he didnt it was so funny.
What’s wild, is that people would rather spend time on the net, looking at prices, noting it into memory, go driving place to place for some extra cash. When they could instead, seek education, take some online courses or go to a university. Create a career and make real money. But it’s easier to be a asshole
When I first saw that clip, I watched it like 100 times lol. It was in some Seagal compilation called Steven Seagal's Odd Moments or something like that.
No....that's just drop shipping. If he's buying them at the store FIRST, then listing them for sale, it's just flipping. Drop shipping is listing an selling an item without keeping inventory yourself.
I swear I had the bell hit. I had to hit it again. I was just sitting watching some tube and I was like. What the heck! Steve hasn't posted in a minute.... Wrong! Dude been posting almost daily.
I follow a lot of resellers because I like seeing the pickups. Chase After the Right Price and Retro Rick are probably my favorite bigger channels. Smaller ones are just as entertaining like KodywithaK and GamersManuel. Seeing people find Rule of Rose in the wild is just plain exciting.
I’ve only seen Rule of Rose once in person and that’s because I worked at a local game store. If I saw that in the wild while game hunting, I would shit a nut.
Can’t watch Chase, guy is just such a dbag to me. Saw him rip off a little girl and her grandma at a garage sale and I was done after that. Froggy Flips is the only reseller I’ve found on the platform who is a standup guy. He pays people more than they ask if he’s going to do well, he’s friendly, humble, and not a “praise Jesus for resale” type (like so many of the CATRP, Phoenix, Rick guys are)
I would actually get into this hobby just to buy these games and consoles just so these pieces of garbage can't get their hands on them and I will just hold on to them
I can literally go into that store at anytime and I can buy out the whole store if i wanted to, that's how much money I have I'm independently wealthy that's what I should do ...could somebody give me the name of that store I will go there personally and I will buy every game and console

And also all these ads on RUclips have gotten excessive. Especially these big creators who have memberships, a patreon, merch, etc.....most are completely greedy!!!! Smfh.....Kreesky isn't a big creator but he's one of the most greedy ones I've seen!

@@steviefreakinc Yeah, what he's doing is nothing short of scalping and being dishonest to his customers.
People buying broken stuff, fixing them, and then reselling them I don't think people have an issue with. Most people don't know how to fix these things, so people repairing them are putting more product back onto the market. They also actually did something to justify selling it for more than they paid for the item.
I don’t get why people would pay outrageous mark ups for used Switch games that you can find all day at target or GameStop brand new.
Yeah me either.
Remember when amazon was a place to get good deals on stuff, dont get me wrong, you still can but man I miss when it was just big companies selling stuff for cheap instead of just resellers selling retro games for way more than what theyre worth and resellers charging full price for stuff they found at the clearance section at walmart.
All good things come to an end unfortunately

Thanks bro, keep watching and liking the videos, I think that helps lol. Still fairly new to the stuff.
Love the commentary on the vids sir, keep up the great work
Pheonix resale never hid the fact he was strictly a reseller
"A method worth investing in" yeah this guy is crazy. You want to invest in currency (aka rare coins) historical documents, Fine Arts, War memorabilia, and index funds. Whoever this guy is that you're talking about is absolutely insane but I think he knows what he's doing in that in more ways than one.
can you do one on retro rick or pixel game squad? both of them basically film episodes that are like QVC until they go to sell the stuff they find in videos on whatnot, then get paid ontop of that for being sponsored by what not.

I may do one on Retro Rick but I kinda like him. I know he's a scummy reseller but for some reason I enjoy his videos. He's brainwashed me haha

He does fulfilled by Amazon usually so he doesn’t have to deal with shipping

Hey Steve you remember the video when Phoenix Resale was going to the pawnshop and he lied about grabbing a game off the shelve. But the man told him he didnt it was so funny.
Oh yeah I love that video. I’ve seen it at least three times lol
What’s wild, is that people would rather spend time on the net, looking at prices, noting it into memory, go driving place to place for some extra cash. When they could instead, seek education, take some online courses or go to a university. Create a career and make real money. But it’s easier to be a asshole

Lol, there are plenty of resellers who make a career out of this. School isn't for everyone and that's okay. How does that make one an assshole?

When I first saw that clip, I watched it like 100 times lol. It was in some Seagal compilation called Steven Seagal's Odd Moments or something like that.
No....that's just drop shipping. If he's buying them at the store FIRST, then listing them for sale, it's just flipping. Drop shipping is listing an selling an item without keeping inventory yourself.
imo they're no different than dkoldies lolz
I swear I had the bell hit. I had to hit it again. I was just sitting watching some tube and I was like. What the heck! Steve hasn't posted in a minute.... Wrong! Dude been posting almost daily.
Haha dang man, RUclips needs to fix that issue! I try to get a few videos out over the weekend since I'm busy through the week.
There's a bunch of herb resellers due to dispensaries popping up in States
He pays people more than they ask if he’s going to do well, he’s friendly, humble, and not a “praise Jesus for resale” type (like so many of the CATRP, Phoenix, Rick guys are)
@@baxoutthebox5682 Chase after the right price ripped off a child and old lady? Do you remember the video title?

There are literally resellers everywhere these days. There’s about 40 of them I can name off the top of my head that make RUclips videos right now. How many people do you think all of these channels have inspired to do the same thing? Take Wii Sports for example. That game is like $30 despite having over 102 million copies produced at the very least. So why is it $30? Reseller gate keeping that’s why
Everyone and thier mom is a reseller at this point.
It takes no effort now as they all copy paste listings because eBay ai does the lifting

I been watching phoenix resell for a long time and honestly I just dont get the hate towards well at least the ones I seen anyway cant speak on ones I havent I mean its basically a job to them they find deals then resell them at market value classic right place right time situation now if they sold there stuff way over market value like certain store cough DKoldies then I would understand but this is really not hurting anyone or anything there just basically trying to turn a profit and I dont really see the harm there big name stores do it all the time so if anything I think its rather ironic when a customer comes in and does it to them for a change there not raising the market value there jist taking advantage of deals when they see them its totally luck based and just common buisness practice its not like there scamming anyone or anything cough again dkoldies
It's because he's buying up all those games dude in bulk and then turning around and selling them for dramatically increased prices taking away those deals from people who actually want those games that's the problem if he actually bought those games and sold them at a fair price nobody would be complaining about what he's doing but he doesn't want to do it that way he wants to jack up the prices
Dkoldies is the worst example of that type of practice because they're jacking up the prices all the way to the Moon

10:40 yeah he just took advantage of that guy you better hope that that guy is not watching this video
You prefer big cooperation ripping you off? Oh wait, that would be harder to make hate videos than individual people.. let the guy make some money, its a free market thankfully.
Corporations sell the products for MSRP. Then people like this guy add on top of that. So yeah it is bad
@@steviefreakinc You can't sell products that aren't produced anymore for MSRP man.. If you are, you are obviously leaving money on the table. Simple fact is, there needs to be people like him to redistribute those out of production things because if it was up to game stop or some bigger cooperation that only dealt with vintage games, they would do the same. DKoldies cough cough.. It's all just business at the end man, I know it sucks but nostalgia has always been a great money maker. I want a 1990 Mclaren P1 for MSRP but those damn collectors and dealers hoarded them all and are asking 30x the original price..That's just how these things work in a free market. Beating on individual sellers that are fixing the leaks in the system to make a profit isn't a bad thing.
