I believe this is my 3rd Christmas watching you decorate the tree. I can remember where some of the ornaments where purchased. That seems weird. Thanks for all you do. Don't push yourself. Relax and enjoy
Just seeing you working on your new home at Christmas is "Vlogmas" enough! The tree looks beautiful and I love how the mantle looks. We are decorating ours today. Maggie definitely looks settled in her new home. Kudos to Zara on her roast dinner! You should offer your instruction guide you are making for her. I'm sure people would love it. It's so nice to see you both so happy in your new home!!!!

Have you got used to the space in the house yet and look at you two putting your wellies on to go into your garden. Forget vlogmas you only have one first Christmas in your new home, enjoy yourselves.
Get an indoor Turtle Mat for your back door (as big as you can). That will stop the paw marks.

Tip for you , if Maggie is sleeping on a tiled floor put her bed on an old folded up blanket because the cold gets through the dog bed …my dogs are more comfortable in theirs now 🐶

This is so fun and brings back so many memories for me. As an unsolicited hint take your tree stand with you to the garden center next year and have them put it on the tree for you. Afterall, they have chainsaws. Remember to give them a nice tip.
Quick tip Luke do away with the strings on ornaments. Buy large paper clips pull them open so you have a hook on each end. So much easier than trying to push string over the needles. It means you can get the baubles deeper into the branches

It’s hard to watch your favourites if everyone does vlogmas so I prefer a few a week which is easier to watch when I can. 🎄🎄
Your tree looks magnificent. Years ago the star at the top was shiny silver cardboard.... That way it all stayed up!

My daughter and her partner were like you last year. But they went retro with all the tacky timings from both thier childhoods.

My two dogs love lily's kitchen they always have one of their Christmas Dinner specials.

Hi Luke, when I moved home we were part of a chain. we completed and moved in on Friday and was back at work on the Monday at my 9-5 job as I couldn't get time off..i agree work is a huge inconvenience when you move home… we should be entitled to movers leave…like paternity leave 🤣

I’m putting my tree up tonight. I have everything else decorated, I need help putting up the tree. I love real trees, however, I’m allergic to pine trees! All through growing up, I would get so sick at Christmas. It was because of the tree, which I finally figured out in my late 20’s.

Your Christmas Tree looks so pretty. I know the feeling of decorating for the first time in a new home it's so exciting, I'm excited for both of you. Christmas Holiday can get overwhelming, but what you can do for next year is every Month go out and buy a Christmas Gift for someone, some new decorations wheather thrifted or new. That is what I do it helps me. I'm a Widow and it allows me to not feel frustrated during the Holiday. Oh and by the way if needed you actually have gifts if a Birthday or Special Occasion comes up throughout the year. Just remember to replace what you took from your stash. Lots of love from Florida.

And please, no tinsel on the tree with Maggy. "Although tinsel is not poisonous, it is still very dangerous if your dog eats any. The tinsel acts as what is called a linear foreign body, which means that the tinsel can wrap itself around your dog's tongue or get stuck in the stomach so it cannot get through the intestines to be expelled through the bowels."

Don’t you worry about not doing your vlogmas videos this year you need to enjoy being in your own house together for the first time because otherwise you’ll regret it and you’ll be getting such a state because everything is so crazy and pressurised so don’t worry you enjoy being there in your home with Zara and Maggie for Christmas.

Now that it's December you've inspired me to get up into my loft and get the decorations down. I'm spending Christmas in Ireland with my brother and his family so won't bother putting up a tree but I always put lights in all of my windows on timers so that it looks festive when I'm away.
The best thing about a Sunday roast is that you can now put the dishes in the dishwasher 😄 (it's the small things, lol) 🌲🎅🇦🇺👋

Be careful planting fir trees Luke,they grow to enormous height ,you fall out with neighbours, they take you to court , then it costs a small fortune to chop it down, and then it crashes through your greenhouse , my friend was crying when all this happened to her, and she only wanted to plant her Christmas tree 🙄 Her's did have roots though 😁 Happy Christmas ☺

I love both your Christmas trees. Would love to see a shot from outside the window at night. It is the perfect size for that spot. Zara’s food looked so yummy. Those potatoes mmm. In my family not everyone likes gravy so I set up a gravy bowl on either side of the table and guests can pour their own. The bells you scored are beautiful. I love them.

Christmas trees are very thirsty and can soak up a lot of water each day. Having a Christmas tree stand with a water reservoir will keep your tree hydrated, looking green and bright longer, diminish needle loss, and reduce the risk of fire.

I'm with you Luke 100%. A tacky tree is fine but NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to tinsel. It should be outlawed! 😂 Love the real tree! Now you are proper home owners you will have to start collecting some decent tools including for the garden.
We always took the older Grandchildren to the Nursery at Christmas when they were little, they still remember those Christmases and told us they were the best Christmases and we made their childhoods magical with all the things we did back then. Awwwwwww! Huge sacks of magical items, mad items and sweets, lot of sweets..👍👍👍😁💗
