- you must successfully complete a run on Hard difficulty in order to unlock the Guardian difficulties which start from Guardian 1 and goes all the way up to Guardian 4. After a lot of testing and many hours of grinding, I’ve defeated hard mode, so here’s what I learned during my many runs in Hard mode. Roboquest is a fast FPS Roguelite in a scorched futureworld. You're a rebooted Guardian, ready to kick some metal ass! Fight with your buddy or by yourself and annihilate hordes of deadly bots in ever-changing environments.

What are some of your own tips for getting through Hard difficulty?
My best tip is to iust use a buckshot kunai with every builds of all time (i have yet to find a build where it doesnt work excluding explosive builds). In general crit builds are the most braindead overpowered builds rn imo.
I say this as someone who only plays the game on guardian 4 yes. Also sunglasses are absolutely worth it especially since they will force u to get better at dodging.
Thanks for providing this info! That is a great weapon combo and find it extremely satisfying to pull off mutli kills with the kunai. I've yet to really experiment with crit except with burning javelin (it was insanely OP). The sunglasses are definitely clutch however my first time beating hard I did take them off so I can have that extra 25% health (100HP difference at level 14) but ended up putting them back on for the damage to beat Guardian 1.

@@SloRush i recommend u try a cryo engi crit build. That is probably the strongest crit build rn.
I second having more damage with sunglasses equiped @@SloRush. By killing the enemies faster it actually prevents more shots and potential damage from enemies. By getting enemies off the board quicker you spend less time worrying about the large hordes of bullets coming your way and instead focus on the bullets from the remaining enemies. As they say the best defense is a great offense.
HP is for mistakes. There is no tanking in Robo Quest and you're supposed to dodge damage instead. Also the extra damage helps with keeping those times low for extra currency

@@SloRush yeah th only reason I have guardian 1 is cuz I needed a brobot to help me through it
