Hey Eric, was this song (and tragic loss) written by her BEFORE she gave birth to Lou?
On November 20, 2007, Lara Fabian gave birth to a daughter, Lou, from her common-law husband, French director Gerard Pullicino.
Lara named her daughter after her mother, "Lulu".

Lou is the daughter she had with Gerard Pullicino, a famous tv music show producer in France.
She never married him and they broke in 2012. They are still friends.
She met that same year Gabriel and she married him in 2013.
In 2017 she got pregnant but later discovered that the baby inside had no heart and was only living using her own and the umbilical cord.
She said later in an interview that the evening of the day this was diagnosed, she had to perfom in a concert and this was one of the most difficult experiences of her life.
When she lost the baby, she wrote Par Amour. And it was released in 2019.

Lara would have been ~47, pretty late for her and Gabriel to give Lou a sibling. Lou would have been ~12ish.
It's a very sad and hopeful song. She wrote this song when she lost her baby who was not viable, to overcome the deep pain for her and her husband and to say that love is stronger than anything!
