Great video, and got straight to the point! I have had my 2012 GMC Sierra for 10 years and have been dealing with this aggravation for at least 7, with no idea what to do about it. After watching the video I went out to the truck and looked under the back seat. Sure enough, all three of these plastic parts were on the floor up behind the seat. I was looking for something else entirely when I even saw this video, so it was meant be! Thank you!!!
Short and to the point! I appreciate you brother. I am a mechanic and already know "what needs to be done" but I like seeing another person run through it.
No idea there were any spacers back there, that rattle has been bugging be for a pretty long time.....glad I picked your video to watch. Puling my bench off and ordering these parts tonight. Thank you
This been killing me every time I drive my truck once I seen ur video and I took the back seats I found out two of them were missing and I just ordered the parts thank you so much.
Thank you! Video was perfect, as far as the music, it's like listening to that rattling noise all over again. relaxing music makes it even easier looking at your video and installing the brackets. But hey man I am an old guy, what do I know.
Thank you for this excellent video. Question, please: What purpose do the brackets serve? What are they for? I removed the plastic ones before I saw your video so it is just the metal flanges now. Why do I need to buy and install the new brackets? Because the rattle will come back, or...?
Lmao 🤣 your right i was cleaning the truck interior and seen them under the seat i couldn't figure out were it came from seat rattled annoying thanks for the video bro
Helps me a lot thank you so much but out of the two things you listed in the description which is just the bracket that slide him to stop it from Rattling???
My truck doesn't have those but it does have some rubber isolators on the mounting hoops. Personally I thing my current rattle is from the drivers rear c pillar but those suck to pull apart. Either that or something is loose in the drivers rear door
I just had all my seats out trying to dry out the carpet and under payment from a water leak. I did discover one broken plastic insert and got a new one from the dealer. Strange things is mine where white as is the new one. Plus I have a star head bolt that holds down those seat belt buckles between the split seats. I guess GM so keeps switching things up.
I’m looking at buying a 2013 Silverado…something is squeaking when I hit bumps on the road or gravel road. The seat has play in it and I can tell those plastic pieces are missing-now that I’ve watched your vid. What does it sound like when driving though?
I was able to get a set shipped to me for next to nothing. Only issue is that once they were installed, they cracked and broke the moment I folded the seat cushions back down. Any ideas to avoid that if I order another set?
Thank you. I just did mine by wrapping duct tape around the metal hooks until they fit snug and the noise is gone. It was driving me crazy for months couldn’t figure out what it was
This is probably a stupid question...but I see you have 2 parts listed on your descriptions. So we have to order 3 of each to fix this problem? Thank you in advance.
@@Donnythelatemodeltech awesome! Hell yeah thank you sir for the reply and help. Got them ordered now finally I don't have to suck start my pistol while I'm driving and listening to this rattle.
Im going to take my seats out and wrap them damn clips in duck tape or a piece of rubber tubing over the clips plastic clips under metal not a good idea lol clips are pricey and cheap made , good video tho i was going crazy.
That's cheap ass China for ya. I have one of these. Thank you. I also have a 1996 f250 and still hanging on strong. I won't buy a new ford. Much more over priced than ever and no different than any other make that utilizes China. That said I still appreciate the two I have.
After a recent trip to some questionable places, my C-130 has developed a bit of a back seat rattle as well... Will this help fix that problem?? ruclips.net/video/GTdK1Va4wao/видео.html

Oh my God. Same exact problem I have. Thank you for posting this. Easy fix. What a relief!

Most welcome
Thank you for the video. Thought my doors were squeaking for the longest time, then found it was the seat. Drives me crazy.
This been killing me every time I drive my truck once I seen ur video and I took the back seats I found out two of them were missing and I just ordered the parts thank you so much.
Thanks bro, noise was driving me crazy.. I thought there was only two Plastic pieces. I’m glad I saw your video. Fixed it today
Thanks for the video man! I thought there was only 2 so that’s all I got. Glad I found this before I unbolt everything. 🤙🍻
super helpful. got subs installed and the company somehow managed to break 2/3 of the anti rattle pieces

Thank you! Finally a video to solve the noise!

They stop the rattling
@@Donnythelatemodeltech Thanks for replying but I guess I am confused because the rattling stopped when I took them out.
Yup, checked it rear passenger side clip is snapped on mine. I be ordering from a Chevrolet Dealer thanks for sharing and show it how it's done

Man, this video was very helpful!!
Dude thank you so much!! I was getting so frustrated and had no idea what was going on back there. Appreciate it! Cheers
I have a brand new 2019 Sierra that is doing this. I can't believe a seat bracket could be broken already.
My truck doesn't have those but it does have some rubber isolators on the mounting hoops. Personally I thing my current rattle is from the drivers rear c pillar but those suck to pull apart. Either that or something is loose in the drivers rear door
Good stuff. You should make more videos.
Thanks. I'm trying!
Man your a life saver thank you.👍

That Great!
Nice vid man! How long does that Milwaukee wrench last on 1 battery?
All I can say is long enough, I only have, and need one. Good stuff. Thanks again Nick 🤙
You have to unbolt the seat from the floor to lift shackles up 😮
Will this fit on 2018 gmc?
Your the man. Ty bro
I cut some automotive hose and glues them on the brackets....no noise why pay for the brackets ...Thats what I did.
That's trashy dude why not do it the right way
Awesome brother!

You just need three of either. They like to sellout so I list two of the same thing.

Clearly another design flaw by Chevrolet.
