It is probably the best Chinese developed game I have played, as most of their developers from what I have seen are focused on mobile type stuff, weird ripoff games, asset flips and so on. This game is a souls like no questions asked
@@LordCommanderVex I love how you and others are saying it is a Soulslike when Mort at the beginning of the video states that he does not view this game as such.
I wish so badly not to suck at these types of games, but I think I was better at Elden Ring. It took me 20 attempts at the first boss after the intro.
I am curious about the AI of the enemies, including the bosses. Compared to Elden Ring, I would like to know if the enemies adjust their patterns based on the player’s actions. For example, do they dodge in response to my attacks, or change their behavior based on the distance from the player? or they just keep following a set pattern regardless of what I do. I think the AI of the enemies is really important in these types of Souls-like games.
Didnt the Devs come out and state it is not a "Soulslike"?
The only reviewer I trust😊
Good show sir
wow! my boy, Mort is abusing the big bad white wolf. Peta would try to cancel you for that combo x'D
Comment for Al Gore Rhythm.
What's the music score like during exploration does it pull you into the atmosphere?
bing at 30% on PS5 with no issues and and really loving it
This game is like a dream come true. It looks amazing, it plays amazing and its a LOONG game. It's crazy how much of a high quality Game Science has managed to pull off for their first game.
Took them a while
actually it's not thier first game, but indeed their first "big" game. they had a few indie games before but the reviews were not that good.
I honestly don't know what they ate to make a game like this one. it's like they themselves took a journey to the west and got all enlightened by the Buddha😂
It’s great to see that this game is living up to the hype!
@@Lavithz bruh it's the most hype game of the last 4 years
@@Lavithz Pretty sure there was already hype 3 years ago when trailers were revealed.
Only the graphic does live up the hype. Combat and exploration are...fine. It's definitely not on the level of Sekiro or Elden Ring. Still a great game and I am having a lot of fun playing it cause Im a big fan of GoW this is very similar to that, but people were hyping this game up to be GOTY or something. It would be GOTY if graphics is the only thing that matters.
@@Aliens1337It’s the studio’s first game tbf, if they somehow got GOTY that’d be insane. From has had over 3 decades to perfect souls
@@Aliens1337if there will be a sequel to this i hope they will add double jump or ability to climb (it's monkey for gods sake) and add more metroidivania stuff and exploration and maybe backtracking. just finished the first chapter. it's a good game, but could be much much better if you add things here and there. oh, i dont like these random invisible walls, so random....
This game looks bananas
No 100% video yet? Disgrace!!!
The GOAT!!!! 🐐 He’s the GOAT! 🐐
Excited for this one. I’ve wasted enough hard earned dollars over the last 2-3 years buying games right at launch. I’m super excited to play this game and have no issues waiting 2-6 months for the rough edges to get smoothed out.
Saying this isn’t a souls-like game seems like an odd take
The developer said it wasn't
Looks more like Sekiro than a Souls-like
people have such a weird view of the term "soulslike" at this point. You know games had combat and bosses like this before From games, right?
I see this similar to jedi fallen order
7/10 ..so far.. nothing Special to me👍
Gronk!
This the Chinese version of God of War
Nice
My god the visuals are truly stunning. The fur/hair effect on the second boss shown makes me think how far we've come from Sif
