- According to Amazon this is their most powerful Fire TV Stick & I am inclined to agree. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max includes a quad core processor with WiFi 6 support and as usual Alexa integration. This streaming player will work with your TV and includes volume buttons so you can use this to power on/off your TV as well as control the volume.
Scrolling through menus is fast and fluid and apps load quickly. Starting content and skipping through content loads quickly and doesn't stutter. If you use Amazon Alexa for your smart home, you can use the integrated voice remote to control those devices as well as see your Ring devices on your TV screen.
I definitely think this streaming stick is worth the price, comes with a lot of useful features and will make any TV smarter.

You need to connect it to the HDMI port on your TV which says ARC or eARC.
Then you need to turn on HDMI-CEC in the TV settings (not firestick settings).

Is the Wifi 6 speed noticeable? The regular works off the 2.4 band I get around 360 speeds currently. Worth the upgrade?

I would say so as u can use Disney, RUclips, BBC iplayer, Netflix etc all on it
There is no chromecast on the firesticks

I was wondering about the performance of WiFi 6 from mediatek in this streaming stick?
It's not as fast as consideration and advertisement shown. But it's much faster than the 4k version.

@@s.b6729 Yes, 4K version is still okay. But for 4k max, you just need 10 more bucks. It’s a better choice.

@@s.b6729 It’s just fine, don’t worry. They have the same size. The 4k has better compatibility. I had 2 echo dot 3. They only works with 4k not 4k max.

Fire TV sticks will also work on non 4k TV's such as 720p and 1080p as long as the TV has an HDMI port. Of course, you won't get 4k, but it will look and work great. I have a fire TV stick on a 720p, 1080p, and a 4k TV. Even works great on my 12 year old Samsung Plasma TV.

Your TV must already support 4k to show 4k content. If your TV is 720p or 1080p, then that is what you will still see.

This is not a big deal, nor a negative. You only need to connect to the micro usb port once, and that is just for power. The actual streaming connection is HDMI. You're not using this as a charger, plus you never have to touch it again unless you upgrade to a newer fire TV stick or if you get another TV and move the fire TV stick to the new TV.

Hey just a tip for future videos, you should write a script or at least an outline of one with talking points, rather than just reading the text on the screen. It makes the video feel amateurish, and obviously you don’t have a massive production budget or whatever, just some constructive criticism.
When you read the words on the screen in a tone that suggests you know a lot about the product and are teaching us about it, it just doesn’t work as we are also reading the words along with you. Does that make sense?
