- In this session, I was riding with Maarten Haeger at one of my favorite spots in Capetown, Misty Cliffs. The wind was absolutely nuking, with gusts over 45 knots. I think I've never jumped this high so often in a row. My highest jump of the day was 32.7m. I hope you enjoyed the video. Please subscribe for more and you will see more 30M+ jumps! 🫡

I think the lift band from the sea breeze compressing against that hill behind the beach helped to lift you. As a paraglider we seek this out to stay up. It looks like you got into the beginning of that lift band and it extended your lift.
p.s. regarding the woo that missed your jump - please do not pester the community manager about it. he does not want to hear it.

That's crazy about CT. You get these flat bits with perfect kickers. No way you can get that speed in chop..

I’m quite new in the sport. When you are coming down from a big jump I can see that you loop the kite? Is that to slow down before landing or?

Well.. i am toootaly disapointed.. tooo much shaking... you didnt wait for a Kite to jump directly over it, to get a feeling of the hight.. yeahh.. i am just envious... but maybe this year i will jump over 10... great session man.

How can you not get pulled up in the air at 12 o clock with a 9 in 50 knots
It is not too accurate but you could look through your gopro footage and see the height with the sticker of gopro, if the gps has been good, there is a chance of getting an idea 🙏🏻

The highest jump, was ALL in perfect. Timing than others jumps. Myst Cliff is the best lift spot in the world. Correct?

Given the rampant errors in Woo’s algorithm, I’d doubt any height you get from those devices.
