Similar to other videos of yours, I've watched videos of the same subjects from other sources, yours are so well and better explained in details. These fine details are so helpful for beginners like me. Much appreciated.

You've explained the different types of standing and running water starts very well. It's a bit harder to do with waves, as there is less time to think about it. Will try these during my next session!

Thank you! We're glad you found the explanations helpful. You're absolutely right-waves can make standing and running starts more challenging since timing becomes more critical. Practicing in calmer conditions first can really help build confidence for wave scenarios. Let us know how it goes during your next session-happy kiting!

What was the windspeed at that time? And kite size? Nice explanation!

18-22 we say have a bit of extra power so that you can feel light on your feet and not have to focus so much on the kite and generating power after you step aboard.

Thanks for an inspiring lesson.....most of my water sites are inland lakes that have soft bottoms, so I wanted to see these.....Evan makes it look easy! The water looks nice and smooth, what was the wind like? And how big of a kite was that?

this is a small island in the Outer banks sound. The winds were 18-25 and we were all using 9-11m kites
