This is the only time I've ever felt satisfied with an audio that's based around cheating. Cheating is never okay, it's an absolute breach of trust, emotion, love and can shatter you. I'm glad that we were able to get revenge. The argument of "you're no better for getting revenge" is nullified because you'd never do it to hurt someone you love, only to hurt someone you hate. Whereas when you cheat, you do it knowing it'll hurt someone you love, which is significantly worse.

Your reasoning for the second half of you comment is childish and wrong, because Listener IS STILL no better because actively wanting to hurt someone = actively wanting to hurt someone whether you loved them or hated them. It's pathetic and immature behaviour. It was great fun for narrative purpose in this two-parter, but these are fictional ASMR roleplays that do not depict reality at all. Getting revenge still makes you scummy. The RIGHT thing for the Listener to have done in Part 1 would have been not letting her inside at all. Part 2 reveals the outright malice and wickedness in the Listener during Part 1.

That was an unexpected, and very surreal conclusion. You performed beautifully, Mia. Part 1 of this audio resonated with a past experience with an ex. With part 2's conclusion, I look back and cannot imagine hurting them in retaliation even though i understand the urge. I would imagine it would end similar to how this audio did. A person who made a poor decision that broke a relationship and in turn broke each other; one shattered by betrayal, morphed by pain into someone else, and the other shamed by their guilt, scarred by humiliation, and numb after shredding themselves entirely.

A clarification: cheating is not a mistake, it is a decision and the only thing they regret when they discover them, they only regret being discovered, not having done it. Everything bad that follows after that is a consequence of what was done before.
I don't know if I would have laughed, but I certainly wouldn't take much into account her desire for me to be happy, she could have done it but it wasn't like that, right? She CHOSE to do the opposite and that's where it all ends.

I’ve seen infidelity turn too many good men and women cruel. While I’ve never been cheated on, I’ve been there for the aftermath of friends and loved ones. They’re never the same person again. Trust issues are just the start. That kind of betrayal changes a person in dark, ugly ways. It makes them do and say horrible things that they never would have otherwise. Honestly though, good for Listener. If cheaters were hated and ostracized by everyone, even by their own friends and family, the world would be better. Of course that would require people actually disgusted in the idea of cheating, even if it's someone they know, and the cheater themselves would have to actually feel guilty to even be affected by the treatment.
In a perfect world, this scenario would simply be someone who is rightfully facing the consequences of their actions. Then again, in a perfect world, cheating wouldn't be a thing to begin with (Still assume it's cheating. Seems to be the only thing that logically fits, despite pt. 1 not specifying). Listener shouldn't have to try to apologize at the end. They were simply making sure someone felt the weight of their choice.

Going by the content of the audio, man it sounds like both of them are severely broken mentally and emotionally after everything that transpired. I know some are going to like how things ended up, though there was a part of me that felt bad for the cheating ex given what happened to her after part 1. Also, man did Mia knock it out of the park with her performances for both parts of the story.

@@tinytim7350 I only felt a bit polarized with the outcome for the cheating ex, like feeling that the actions of the listener was a tad bit too harsh though justified from a certain point of view. But what do I know, I’ve never been in a relationship so I don’t have any experience that can clout my judgment like the listener has in the story. At the end, I do like the arguments laid out in favor and against the outcome showing how well the story was done to provoke conversations like these.

If her crime is cheating, (i'm not sure it was ever established in these videos if that's what she did but everyone pretty much assumes so) then it's fair game, the character made her bed, now she's gonna lie in it. I could never get behind revenge. No matter how you spin it going out of your way to hurt people for the sake of if is just cruel regardless of how you justify it.
I’m not talking out of my ass. I’ve been wronged and gotten even more then once. Never once when it was settled could I look at the aftermath and feel good about any of it. I don’t understand how you can make someone suffer and feel prideful having made the world just that extra bit more miserable.
Even a necessary evil is still an evil only forgiven by your lack of real choice in committing it. Call it revenge, call it justice, call it any name you like. An unnecessary evil is nothing more then sadism regardless of the excuse.

That hurt, i mean like a lot. Never been in a relationship so i can't understand the real pain someone can feel when getting cheated on. I hate cheating, that's disgusting and i'd probably be incredibly mad with her if It was me, however i would feel so bad with myself by destroying her life like the listener here. In the first part she truly was in pain and she was so repented, honestly i'd have given her a second chance, i think it's right (btw wonderful voice, i can feel the emotions you want to give keep going like this❤)

You may think her treatment after was cruel (it wasn't. It was a suitable punishment. Breaking up isn't enough) but do not ever take back a cheater. You reward bad behavior and the highest form of betrayal by allowing that. And they're liable to do it again because you've already allowed them to get away with it, therefore respect you even less than they previously did.
I keep telling others the importance of and the vitalness of forgiveness, and *this* is what I’m talking about.
If you don’t forgive (eventually, I’m not saying all at once) then you let something fowl rot and root within you, letting hate and it’s toxins become like lactic acid in your blood.
Worse yet, you become blind to the reality of the other person’s sincerity if/when they are truly sorry and/or truly trying to do better. There’s almost nothing more potently agonizing than guilt and shame, especially after events that can’t be taken back but you sincerely wish you could. It is a h-l in and of itself, with forgiveness being the only way out.
If you are the one in the wrong then it’s not just from those you’ve hurt or wronged that you need to seek forgiveness from, it’s yourself as well. But if you’re the person who’s been hurt and actively chose not to forgive the other person ( *ever* ) when they sincerely have changed or want to take back their mistakes for the right reasons, then you yourself have no longer become the victim but a villain in your own right.
You are entitled to your rage, but don’t let it fester into hate and make you deprive the one at fault of any sense of redemption, for that is an abuse of your title of victim and therefore no longer earning of it. Leaving them in that h-l of shame and guilt is no laughing matter; it robs them of every will to smile, to think, to have any worth, to practically be a living vegetable *IF* they’re lucky. Because sometimes that guilt and shame, when unable to make any progress toward redemption, can lead them to…remove themselves from life permanently, plagued with despair and worthlessness. And that’s something no one should ever want *AFTER* the other person tries to make things better.
It’s hard, it’s really REALLY hard to forgive, but *PLEASE* try every day. Or at least acknowledge and give at the very minimum a hint of help to those who’ve wronged/hurt you and are genuinely, sincerely trying to do better and be better. It’s hard, but not/never impossible; for all things worthwhile in life are hard.
