    very informative and helpful video man, picked up the boosted and realized none of the clicks wanted to come out, but thankfully there was one lever they decided not to add the click too so Im rocking with that one lol. I also wanted to ask if you could possibly make a thorough video on adjusting the blade (zero gapping it) and on how to get the blade to stop moving. I recently added the stretch bracket on my boosted+ and struggled with getting that blade to stop moving no matter how tight I tightened the screws. As soon as I’d zero gap it and screw everything back in and turn the clipper on the blade would shift and wiggle. Im not quite sure if I just did it wrong but man would my blade wiggle a whole lot

    I'm not a barber or stylist but I am surprised at the number of folks wanting to get rid of the clicks. I am trying to find reasonably-priced clippers with click-levers. I am always cutting my own hair, sometimes a buzz cut, sometimes a more involved cut. The clicks are a great for me because I am often holding the trimmer up behind my own head and doing my best to not mangle my haircut. Without the clicks, it is kinda difficult to keep the lever in one position, much less actually adjust it while in use. I guess most people are not cutting their own hair. I see how as a real professional that you would want total fluid control over the paper lever, but for me the clicks are a real bonus. Is there a way to ADD clicks to a click-less taper lever?

    • @Seancutshair

    • @Seancutshair
      @Seancutshair  11 месяцев назад

      Clicks help people know exactly where they are on the lever. Downfall is you can only use those specific lengths and nothing i between. I like having more movement to hit lengths in between the notches

    • @raymond4628
      @raymond4628 11 месяцев назад +2

      I would most definitely say if you are a beginner barber, having this click lever option is quite helpful so you are closing it a click at a time until that line comes out whereas without the click you could potentially close it to much and set a harsher guideline or take the blend higher then you expected. But its all personal preference. I just think with the click you have a little more room for error lol. If you can definitely get one with and without it I would most definitely do so. Im also wanting to start barbering and have only cut my brother up and man did having both as an option was definitely beneficial
