Well said josh. We are having the same problem over here in Oz. We are run by a labour government over here and they are screwing us big time over here. They will find out when there won't be any foods on the tables .
Hi Josh, i understand your rant. 😊 Do your parent in laws own their farm ? I presume the inheritance tax situation will effect your employers family farm too. The implementations of this will take a long time to be felt. The market for farmland must also take a huge hit to eventually.
Farming is traditionally a dangerous workplace, so a farm accident to a farm owner could be terrible with a tragic death followed by a unplanned for Tax on top of a tragedy 😢 Keep safe n well to you all.😊
I always say if the shoe was on the other foot they wouldn’t like it and having to work as hard as us farmers do out in all weathers and having to endure loses and everything else
Josh I understand your rant and enjoyed the video. I had started to write a pretty long opinion about the budget (and more), however, I neither want banned from You Tube, or based on recent events put in jail, as we no longer have free speech anymore, so I have refrained from saying what I really feel and want to say. Onward's and upwards and hopefully things will get better.
no vat back on double cab pickups that will hit many farms was a sneaky one and if you buy any car or pickup if its not full electric its double road tax in the first year
@@JMFarming The higher road tax only applies to first year reg cars, brand new ones you buy from a showroom, second hand cars bought from a secondhand dealer or a bloke from down the road are not effected by this new tax.
Agree with you 💯 worrying times ahead for our farm both my parents are in their 70sand the farm is 130acres so would definitely be shafted with inheritance tax can't for the life of me understand why anyone should pay the government tax on something that belongs to you not the state 🤬
hi josh I'm on your side all the way what are the government doing don't they realise it killing the food producers and the lovely countryside that the farmers maintain and keep tidy
Josh, this in my eyes is an exact replica of the mining trade back in the 80s there was a mine 20 ish years ago in a village near me in west Yorkshire they shut the pit down it was only 7 miles from 3 power stations and they shut it down because it was cheaper to import from Africa hundreds of miles away in my view the government wants to take farmers land of them offer farm subsidiary to not farm and then when that hasn't worked tax the life out of future farmers so there forced to surrender there land to build new migrant homes for the illegal immigrants where the genuine immigrants pay an absolute premium to live and study here the 1st year costing in the region of £60.000 a year to be here sad isn't it
The UK used to be a great force to be reconned with. Leaders in the industrial revolution. Leaders in aviation. Leaders of finance and the corporate world. Now what is it a leader in? Wokeness. Immigration. Poverty. Tax. Plus the persecution of farmers! I am a British citizen but live in Australia. I look on from afar and are ashamed of a country I love. My parents and grandparents would turn in their graves if they were alive to see this. To think they fought for their great country only for it slowly degrade, by poor political decisions. 😢
WTF are you attaching a PTO and working around the shaft with the engine running and almost as bad someone in the cab. Will farmers ever learn.......😢😢
We are with you all the way on your views Josh.
Screwing our Farmers is one big NO NO.
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Absolutely

Well said josh you never know government might, with public pressure have a rethink....and pigs 🐖 might fly. Cracking one again. Happy weekend
Agreed 1000% Josh. As a non farmer even I agree with everything you have said. I even wrote to my MP about it.
Another great video I Agree with you josh all the way 👍👍
Well said Josh! Bloody good mess with it all at the moment
Will take forever to sort out too

They do but it will have been borrowed against to improve it a lot over the last few years. I expect farmland to drop in value, but I could be wrong

Yep, I don’t think they realise that!
Well said

Absolutely paddy!
Well said ❤
Agree Josh lots of people disappointed with this budget especially stretched pensioners
Couldn’t agree more!
Yes totally agree Josh Total mess my boss is going through it at the minute . will be going on the 19th hopefully do some good

Just take the nat insurance hike will cost your boss an extra 1.5%
@@andrewwebb2691 think as they employ less than 5 people they’ll be exempt but plenty of farms will be hit by that too!

Yep saw that too. Ludicrous

They are clutching at straws for money!
Agree 100%, but they just keep biting the hands that feed them. It's no different here🇨🇦
They won’t learn until there’s no food on their plate.
Just have the farm valued on annual profit.
Hi Josh well said, the government have shafted working people for as long as I can remember,I'm glad I'm retired good luck to you all. Take care
Sadly the retired will be hit before long as well!
It will effect employees on farms. Employees are expenses and when profit is taxed there is less money for employees.
hi josh I'm on your side all the way what are the government doing don't they realise it killing the food producers and the lovely countryside that the farmers maintain and keep tidy
I don’t think they even know what they are doing!
Comment for engagement
🤟🏽
It defies belief Josh. Labour has pushed the UK under the bus.
Yep, it’s completely beyond me

There will always be an agenda that effects someone, I’m just amazed by the blatant lying during the lead up to the election

Yep I totally agree! Spending a fortune helping everyone else but our own!
