Didn’t really know this till I moved south - a “jag” with a needle is known as a “jab” down here… got loads of confused looks from colleagues when I said I was away for my flu jag last month.
Enjoy your vids when I looked after cattle I found the bulls feet were better if pen was cleaned daily straw in one corner feet are on hard wearing surface about a barrow a day
The beef factories have alot lager margin that the farmer has at the end of the day at least thats the case over here in Ireland. Sheep are far better than horses a poor sheep you can still sell a poor horse you can't even give away . Top video again 👌
@@CrawfordsFarm1 hopefully that's the case food scarcity will hopefully leave a better margin . Over here in Ireland beef would be more than a euro a kg behind the UK so hopefully that doesn't undermine your price in Scotland cos anything that's going at the moment is all needed . Will the 2 pet lambs see a ram or a meat hook 😬😂
In the United States we've had four years of drought. Cow numbers haven't been this low since 1952. A lot of our producers are older men and with the cost of Hay so high they're just out.
I really enjoy your videos they have so much verity
Another great video Crawford. You have great strong stock. They are a credit to you.
You could not have picked a better day to market these gilets, It' the first cold snap up here in Aberdeen today, I cannot wait for mine to arrive.

Freddie is a good future asset
Cattle looking well a credit to you.
The cattle on the straw looks class, they seem to thrive alot better than slats.........jst a pity it isn’t practical wth straw €50 a round in Ireland
Freddie and Emily did a great job rearing pancake 👍
Crawford you could move the hinge point on the back door off that trailer so the dung doesn't jam when you tip it
RIP Crawford tomorrow morning after Kev watches this video that will teach him to check his drillspouts more often 😂 do those gillets come in 5xl
Unfortunately not Wullie! Next batch i will look into it especially
They look good it's just I like my food too much

I think that sheep, horses and highland coos all fall into the same bracket!🤣

Do you ship to belgium??
Out of interest, how would you know if a arm on the drill is bloked?
4:13 Proud father. 😃
I've done the same with a drill and a sprayer and you don't half beat yourself up about it never mind the slagging ye get from the other tractor men 😢
Nice
I tried buying the jacket, I'm live in Ireland and it tells me you don't ship products, anyone else have the same problem
❤❤
Was so looking forward to getting a jacket till you put a flag on it!
🤣🤣🤣
At least you can have a roast leg of lamb lol
Horse burgers too
Is a Gillet the same as a bodywarmer???😂
I think so…
Hi do you get a bonus for Angus beef 🍖
😢😢😢❤❤❤
Sheep can make money, as long as they don’t find a way to off themselves. Horses are just expensive decorations.
It is by cheap by twice
👍🏼
I got my beer 🍺 ye beauty.
Legend, enjoy
Whats worse sheep or horses.
Sheep are tasty
Horses are worse. Sheep might be bandits but horses are outlaws as they steal my money.😂
I see your Scottish handwriting is hard to understand if you're a Yorkshire man...🤔😉🤣🤣
Flag******
I think Pancake needs to be kept as a breeding bull 😄
