i connect so much to what you said about having long hair and connecting beauty to long hair. for me, more specifically long straight hair. my hair is super curly and that has always been my struggle. now I have short curly hair and I've never felt so me and feminine and confident and my hair has never been so healthy.

Your hair looks great!! It's always hard to style a new haircut and get in the groove. It's been three years since I did a chop and been growing out my curly hair and it's the healthiest and longest it has been since I was 12. It's a lot of hair and I miss having short hair sometimes, but I know one day the time will come. If you ever want tips on how to style your hair naturally, I've been going to Manes by Mel here on YT! Also wish I could have sent you some painting tips 😩 Rollers are the efficient way to go, especially if you have extension rods so you don't have to strain your neck! Painting is really not as easy as you expect it to be.

Do the hair tools tell you the exact temp as well as level? I love the options and individual levels but I would feel more comfortable knowing what the temp is.
