YEEESSS!! Today is the day that we get a GREAT video (even if it's 18 seconds). Two months of pure pain without a jeep video. Keep up the good work Matt👍
@@Greendot319 Are you saying there is going to be no more greendot. Words cannot express my absolute sadness if this is the case. (Literally having a panic attack right now)
Very cool! I hope you decide to continue making videos for us someday. I enjoyed coming home from work and seeing what you were working on or learning something about these interesting vehicles! Best wishes!
I agree matt, it's certainly not like jeep building, whole new set of skills to learn, frustrating at times, but worth it when it's up and running. I remember when I done my BC-348 a few years ago, I could almost remember the circuit diagram and got to know the capacitors by colour code, a Top job.
Ok, give us a tease. So what did you do to get it functional? I have one too. I have collected all the tools, crystals. But have never thought about making it actually do its job.
Could you possibly do a tutorial on how to get these working? Could you also do a tutorial on installing the set correctly in a Jeep to set it up as part of a recon section?
Hi Greendot am sorry to hear that you are slowing down on your videos they have been a great source of information for me and iv had many hours of enjoyment watching them. Just a question, im restoring a mb at home and was wondering what paint code would be for our ww2 Jeeps? Iv asked my local paint shop for O.D. Green semi gloss body paint if that's the correct one but they are asking for a paint code still.
My dude, where’d ya go? Hope everything’s alright. I don’t give a rip about jeeps, but your passion was infectious and entertaining!

Much work, this video was meant actually for a forum thread so no information with it, but it needed a lot of work!
I have two; one in my Jeep and a spare. Neither functional, so I was seriously considering gutting one out and putting modern radio components inside.

please do not do this.
👍 👍 👍!!!
Hi Matt , I am a bit puzzled. The BC659 does not receive on the AM or FM broadcast band frequencies. What did you modify to accomplish reception? Mark.
What kind of power supply is that?
I'm jealous.

Does your jeep run on unleaded fuel or do you have to add additives to the fuel ?

@@conrod7 Thanks!
You think this guy died or something?
Where are you Matt?
Sorry, but to us amateur radio operators (AC0XY), it's not "working" until you can transmit and have a contact with someone! 🗼
True, but who says it doesn't transmit?!
@@Greendot319 What frequency was it set up for?
@@johnandrews23 this was the factory crystal setting which is around 27mhz, can't remember exactly of top of my head
Going to be doing anymore yutubes??
