    Would like to see how you would add an oil feed for long term burn

  • @alfbittner6489
    @alfbittner6489 10 месяцев назад +2

    Your idea is outstanding, your application is crude but effective. How long does 100mm last, have you considered a drip feed for continuous use. Good invention.

      Many thanks, 100ml takes 15-20 minutes depends on the volume of blower

    nice! Add a suply tube to let more used oil to drip in and it will burn continually. I made one out of a small tank. I put a 2 inch piece of exhaust pipe in on one side near the bottom and a curved down piece on the upper oposite side. I ran a gravity line in for the oil. I put a fan on the lower 2 inch pipe. I welded a 2 inch nipple in the top with a cap. To get burning let a bit of oil in and drop a few strips of cloth soaked in diesel through the top. when the oil is burning, cap the top and turn on the fan. Heat coming out the curved pipe will melt aluminum.

    Love the blue flame which few others achieve.
    One caution, welding galvanized pipe, or zinc plated fasteners is very hard on your lungs. Dip them in muriatic acid for a few minutes to make it safe to weld.

    Nice concept, now it needs to be reduced in size to about 1/4 so it can be used as a stove or heater with a conventional heatilator tube type heat ex hanger and conventional exhaust for home use. Also, was the-temperature shone in F or C?

    Neat idea.
    But why the hell did you use galvanized material for the "burner head"? Terrible material selection choice...
    That zinc coating will degrade and burn-off. Zinc fumes are extremely toxic. Of course, so is the burning oil... but the nonetheless, black-iron fittings & pipe would have been a more appropriate choice (stainless steel would be superior!).
    In any case, thanks for sharing.

    the end plumbing parts making up the final end of air chamber on this one with air holes in it (8 and 12) ...being what appears to be of a larger air volume size than the one you made in build below.....does it result in a slight upgrade from link below or did it turn out about the same in your view?
    ruclips.net/video/tqEeWTz9eVo/видео.html
    are you determining size and number of holes based on anything in particular such as ratio between size of oil tub , size of air chamber , size/number of holes air exits?

  • @muhammadhabibi588
    @muhammadhabibi588 4 месяца назад

    The hole or pipe that exits the fire is too big, if it were smaller the hole that exits the fire might be better than before and there should be more holes at least 6 or 8.
